Sport Island Pub & Restaurant — Restaurant in Town of Northampton

We recently visited this restaurant over the Independence Day long weekend after our hike at the Hope Falls trails. Everything we ordered was tasty and came out quickly. However, we had a surprising (and disappointing) experience with the drinks. We ordered two Cadillac margaritas, which were served in plastic cups with straws. When the bill came, we were shocked to see we were charged $94 for two drinks. We asked the waitress to double check, thinking it must be a mistake, but she confirmed the price was due to the Clase Azul tequila they used.

We didn’t recheck the menu at the time, and I haven’t been able to find a drink menu online to confirm if this price is “standard” for Northville, NY. That said, I’ve had fancy cocktails in some of the swankiest restaurants around the world places with bartenders who have degrees in mixology and I’ve never seen such an exorbitant price for a drink, let alone one served in a plastic cup with a straw at a sports bar.

I’d strongly recommend asking about drink prices before you order or if ~$50 margarita in a plastic cup with straw is your thing, feel...

Horrible management doesn't care if they cause someone an allergic reaction. I have celiac disease and they fed me wheat fries and wanted me to pay for them even though after eating some I felt sick and had to ask if they were gluten free he barely cared enough I had to literally ask him to go and check. I said I told the sever over three times I am severely allergic to wheat and that I am fully dairy free. They apparently don't know what dairy free means. Lower quality food wanted to take bread off my plate instead of remaking would they do the same for a nut allergy. I think they’re a joke of a restaurant and should pay their chef more so they have someone educated on what they are serving and teaching the severs what they are serving is a start. Drinks are mediocre. Spend almost 250 and will be sick tonight and will think of the loser management that shrugged his shoulders at the fact that I will be sick puking blood . Oh well...

5 of us went here for dinner. We sat outside, where the furniture was clean enough, but under the tables and chairs there was lots of dropped food. 4 of us had the haddock fry, pretty good, FF not so good. I had the Calamai. $17.00. Do not order this, it is terrible, dark colored, odd tasting, nothing like it was a year or so ago. We asked for the cole slaw which was part of the dinner, more than once, never got it. I asked for coffee after dinner, was told they din't have any, however it was on my bill and I paid for it even though I never got it. They charge a significant fee here for using any credit card. Total bill for 5 people with 1 shared appetizer, the Calamari, and 1 beer or drink each, was $154.92. 1 Corona beer in bottle, $10.00. Total with tax $160.50. Our waitress was pleasant and attentive, but not very experienced, especially about beer types. Overall, $185.50...
