Luluâs Coffeehouse is an absolute GEM. We were in the area for a few days to explore Letchworth and enjoy the turning leaves. After almost 4 hours in the car I was in dire need of a good cup of tea so we figured we would poke our heads in while checking the ice cream out. I was SO pleasantly surprised to find not only an excellent well curated supply of teas, but also a barista who knew exactly what she was doing! My simple English Breakfast was perfectly steeped and piping hot. We got some incredible cookies to bring back that very reasonably priced too! We only got to look at Kish-a-waâs menu as we werenât quite ready for ice cream yet, but we were very impressed with the size of the menu, the variety of flavors (from all over the country!) and could tell that like Luluâs time and care is put into the menu! I canât wait to come back to town for more tea and a ton...
Read moreTwice a year we drive back and forth between Ontario and Connecticut to visit family. Most of that drive is a dull 5 hours on i-90. This time, we decided to stop in some local towns on the way to break it up. Nunda may not be a big place, but this ice cream definitely makes it worth visiting! Not only is the ice cream ridiculously delicious with impeccable presentation, Pam (the owner) makes the entire experience feel like you're at home. You can choose from the default menu, or get a craft sundae, or pick from the constantly evolving blackboard menu where the concoctions are named after regular patrons. There's other stuff to do in the area too. The creamery itself is surrounded by local farms, some of which have produce (or puppies!) for sale. And there are at least 3 breweries within a 30...
Read moreThis is the best ice cream place around and I have been to many all over the area and the state. Pam and her team do a wonderful job coming up with creative sundaes and making them to order. Many hard ice cream flavors as well that are delicious and will guarantee that you will have a tough time choosing!! Portions are huge and always served with a special touch-for example I asked for cruahed oreos as a topping and they put a whole oreo as a garnish. :) The waffle cones are made in house and are absolutely delicious. Milkshakes are killer too. Seating is available in a screened porch or outside the building. There is also a convenient drive thru. Kishawa is worth a trip...
