My husband and I celebrating my 40th!!! birthday with our first trip to the Woodstock area, and when we drove by Fruition we were both like āWOAHHHHHHHH did you see that?!?!ā.
Fruition is one of my favorite chocolate companies and we were so excited to stop by and see the factory and pick up a good selection of items we havenāt tried yet!
We live in NYC and first tried their bars a few years ago at the Meadow, and were instantly impressed with the commitment to quality and ethical practices. They pay attention to every little detail, and it shows.
For those commenting on the price, keep in mind most mass produced chocolate is still sourced with questionable and exploitative labor practices (yes, that includes slave labor in 2021). The cost reflected here is that they pay cocoa farmers fair prices for high quality cocoa beans, and they donāt add additives. The result is global award winning chocolate that is meant to be savored.

I dont believe they are direct trade. May be fair trade? They do roast and process all beans on site (and thereās a glass in the shop to watch through).
They have samples of nearly everything, coffee, tea, AND they use Delās local ice cream and add their chocoalte to make a chocolate ice cream which you can try plain or as a sundae (one of which involves their flourless chocolate cake)!
Everyone was so friendly and it was truly one of the best chocolate shops Iāve visited (I visit many).
Fully accessible. Plenty of outdoor seating...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy husband and I stopped into Fruition on our way home from our mini-moon in the Catskills and boy they did not disappoint. A small place that is one million percent worth the stop!! The atmosphere is amazing and the owners and everyone there are extremely helpful and friendly. They have a great cocoa mural and cool outdoor hangout spot as well. We picked up some chocolate for our dog-sitter as a gift and got a few bars for ourselves. My favorite is the Tanzania latte and Nick loves the bourbon caramels. Itās smooth, tasteful, and unique. You can tell how much pride they have in their product. They even gave us a scoop of ice cream as a congratulations! We will be stopping in again! Thank you for this gem...
