Ming Moon — Restaurant in Town of Olive

The food is very good, whenever I was out in that area I would stop and get food. But after what happened the day my mom and I went to get lunch we won’t be spending our money here. We order and PAID for the food, ordered it as sit in, and as we were done we asked for a to go container, they give us one and then proceeded to ask for payment. We explained we already paid, the CHILD they had behind the counter took our order and money. The child claimed we didn’t pay, when we already did. Seeing they don’t give any kind of receipt for cash payments, only credit card. We didn’t have a receipt to show them. We argued for 5ish minutes about this. Then they finally said fine. But the child proceeded to tell them that we did not pay! We were being accused of stealing. This was very upsetting, and we no longer plan to spend money here seeing the children are always there...

I haven't been to a Chinese place that I prefer over this one. (NYC or Miami included, though I'm sure I missed some places) They're incredibly consistent with their execution. Their sauces aren't overly sweet (which I find an issue in many Chinese restaurants,) but they are flavorful. In restaurant, I don't believe I've had better examples of their General Tsao, or Egg Foo Young.

Covid-19 specific: During Covid they have set up a sort of closed off way to pick up food from a plexiglass box and there is no inside dining due to their response to the virus, I don't think I've seen a business in the area take it more seriously. Delicious and great value! Ordered General Tso's Chicken, Roast Pork Lo Mein, and Beef and Broccoli. The General Tso's chicken was tender and flavorful, and the fried rice was not mushy at all and well-seasoned. The Roast Pork Lo Mein had a delicious smoky flavor and was also well-seasoned (this was my favorite dish). The Beef and Broccoli was tasty with the vegetables being cooked perfectly.
