Country Deli — Restaurant in Town of Orangetown

Today a man working the counter of this establishment, apparently the owner, intentionally parked his pickup truck in the middle of the shared parking lot, blocking the hearse and funeral procession of a 34 year old gentleman who was loved by his community. The man parked there and then refused to move because the gathering of people who were attending the funeral were taking up a few of the deli’s spots. Granted, the two establishments share a parking lot. However, if this is an ongoing issue, the owner should take it up with the town and work out an agreement with the church, not childishly play with innocent people who are grieving the loss of their loved ones. Country Store for sure. Needs a little organization and TLC. Ordered two sandwiches, 2 Chips, 1 soda and the newspaper. $18.78 pretty fair or so I thought. Sandwiches were worth about $3 ea. Both sandwiches were lacking in the cold cut dept. One hero had 3 slices of turkey and didnt cover 2/3 of the sandwich. Cutting corners. You live and learn. Wont be back! The food here is absolutely delicious! I love going for breakfast, and they also have great options for lunch. They even do catering. The staff is incredibly friendly and kind—when I had my baby in one arm, they insisted on helping me carry my coffee to the car. That kind of thoughtfulness is rare these days and makes this place extra special!
