From the moment I walked in, the warm, family-run vibe of SOD Thai Kitchen was evident. Situated right on Route 303, this spot might look like your average mall‑strip takeaway, but the food is leagues above.

Food & Flavor: I started with their stellar Shrimp with Lobster Sauce—perfectly sauced, fresh, and packed with flavor. Their Chicken Teriyaki Sticks deserve a special mention: generously sized, beautifully charred, and addictive. What a great place! Saw a sign and decided to give it a try. The food was exceptional! We ordered the fried calamary, which was ok. Well seasoned but if we were to rate all the dishes we got, we would have left it off the menu and try something else. Got the coconut shrimp soup (Tom Kha) which was full of shrimp! Dare i say, more shrimp than mushroom or tomato. You read that right! The shrimp was very flavourfull. My fear when eating out is the ingredient used, and this place takes pride in their ingredients and dishes and it shows. Drunken noddle might be one of the best i have ever had and i have had it a LOT! The duck noddle soup was something new for me and my partner and we both loved it. It was very flavourfull and on the sweet side. We tried the mango sticky rice and it was another hit for desert! I cant wait to come back and try the curry dishes. My husband ordered takeout yesterday. Food was delicious! Fresh ingredients, good portions, overall yummy! He reheated leftovers today and found that they were just as tasty (like home cooking).
