TFS Burger Works — Restaurant in Town of Orangetown

This is probably the 1st neg review I've ever done but there's always that once right Overhyped, so here goes....Overhyped, overpriced & thus over rated! Started out w a lil but of a tude that I was lucky (?) To be there. Lil 😕 😕 bout that one. After ordering a cheeseburger, sweet potato fries and shake I dolled out $30.00 and was told that they would announce my name over the speaker. So I sat beside the joint at the picnic table area, tables were dirty and had food scraps/ more like big crumbs kinda all over them. No biggie it was busy but maybe one of the like 20 people behind the counter could of checked out the 8 or so tables. Ok the guy on the speaker system sounded like he used to work for the NY Subway back in the day ( muffled manny lol) garbled garbled noise wind noise&^^^$#%/

Disappointing Experience at (TFS) The Filling Station.

I recently visited The Filling Station for the second time at this particular location, and unfortunately, it was not as enjoyable as my previous experience. The restaurant has experienced a decline in customer service, and it was quite evident during my visit. The staff member taking orders at the counter was unfriendly, snarky, and overall rude. It seemed as if he had no interest in serving us at all, which left a negative impression right from the start.

In terms of the food, my order consisted of two burgers with LTO, and cheese, accompanied by a single side of regular and sweet potato fries mixed together, although predominantly sweet potato. The total bill for this meal, including two Mexican cokes, amounted to around $46 before the tip. The staff member had no problem mentioning a tip. Unfortunately, the taste of the burgers was nothing exceptional. They lacked that special touch that would make them stand out from other burger joints in the area. Considering the underwhelming taste and the high price point, I find it difficult to justify making a special trip to this restaurant.

One of the aspects that stood out during my previous visit to The Filling Station was the outstanding customer service, which made the experience memorable. However, this time, the poor service overshadowed any positives the restaurant had to offer. It is disheartening to see such a decline in the quality of service, as it ultimately affects the overall dining experience and customer...

Quaint burger joint. I pass by the establishment everyday on my way to work and finally had an opportunity to check it out and have one of their famous burgers. The prices are a little on the high side for the size of the burger that you get. I was expecting the burger to be better. It was decent but could have been seasoned a little bit better. The fries were seasoned well and had a nice crunch. The staff was very pleasant and helpful in explaining the menu. Be prepared to wait awhile for your meal, especially on the weekend. There is an adjacent cafe that has organic and tasty desserts and eclectic array of food. You can eat in or take out. The restroom almost seemed like an afterthought as it was around the back of the building, next to the parking lot and you access it from the outside. It is attached to the building. I thought that was very inconvenient to those who were eating in the cafe as you have to go outside in order to use it. It has an outhouse type of feel and is...
