I had 3 Sweets do my wedding cake and cupcakes, and it was just a very frustrating experience. Communicating with her was not good at all and I had to keep following up for months leading up to the wedding. We were never actually able to set a time to do a "tasting" which was on us, but we have gone and ate there for breakfast and even brought home a bag full of different bakery items. We loved it, so we kinda figured that her cake would be the same. Needless to say, it seemed like an after thought by the time the cake was picked up. Decoration was bland and the some of cup cakes were super dry. I told her what my colors were and she added flowers that completely clashed with it. I still ended up paying in full, but told her what I thought and she said she would give a refund on just the cake. I had to follow up over a month later asking if she was able to do this. She said she did on her end, but she would look back to see if she could give us our money. Another month and still no response. I'm at the point of just cutting my losses. In conclusion: great bakery, but terrible wedding cakes. Would not recommend. I didn't even do a cake cutting because...
ย ย ย Read moreThis is a very quaint little cafe with lots of natural light. They have a simplistic menu, however the food they serve is right on que! I love the Biscuits & Gravy and my fav is the Chorizo Burrito. The coffee is robust, just the way I like it but they have a variety for the lighter roast drinker. Their board is filled with a list of choices you'd see at any of your favorite shop. Another favorite is their Chia tea. Though I have not tried one, I've bought many Cinnamon Rolls for meetings on different occasions, and everyone repeats what I have heard from others; they are the best cinnamon rolls they've ever had and always ask where to get them ...I guess I may have to break from my habits to try one. The staff is always eager to assist and a delight to chat with. Ample parking and also a drive-thru window. Summer months offer outdoor seating on a patio with southern exposure. 3 Sweets is an establishment that helps bring charm to the tiny town of Dundee. Another plus for me is, it's veteran owned and operated! Update: I can now say, the cinnamon rolls are truly the best! I should have never tried one, now...
ย ย ย Read moreI'll start off by saying they were busy. However, most of our group got the wrong food/beverage. Food was iffy. Expensive- even for these times, with small portions that were bland. Staff was not the most plesant, and couldn't figure out who got what food because of their shoddy ticket system. The line was reaching around inside and we didn't have room to sit- they should run the line out the door instead. We get that you're a bakery/small cafe but it looks like you're trying to run a shop for local sellers more than a bakery inside, too stuff in the way! Worst part was the kitchen- sanitation needs some looking into. The cook shouldn't be wiping their dirty hands on their apron. Nor should they touch raw/par cooked meat then other food items not to be cooked with those same gloves. Also note the spray clean bottles so close to the food. Yikes.
*Editing to say we stopped here on vacation. What an odd response to my review, I have no affiliation with this business or any of...
