Wanna Empanada — Restaurant in Town of Ossining

I decided to get Wanna Empanada for my son's 4th birthday party instead of the go-to pizza. Wanna Empanada responded very quickly to me with a catering menu and were so easy to work with. We picked up the empanadas the night before since our party was on a Sunday. They provided instructions on how to reheat and packaged the empanadas so beautifully that we didn't even need to pull out serveware to display them. We ordered 7 different kinds for a total of 78 empanadas and every single one was delicious. We hosted 20 people at our place and were only left with 6 empanadas as leftovers. Our guests insisted on taking leftovers and could not stop eating them. Afterwards, I received texts from our guests telling me how delicious the empanadas were. So good with unique flavors that change daily (they told us to check their instagram to get the daily flavors). We make a 20-30 minute trip just to get them. Today we had Reuben , Cajun shrimp, rancher (chicken cutlet with bacon , cheddar and ranch ), jalapeño popper . For dessert, Oreo mini empanadas, which were like cream cheese frosting with chocolate and the right amount of sweet.

Don’t expect fancy, just really really good and fresh empanadas. The owners said they never freeze them, so each day they are open in their food truck they are made that day .. and they taste it (specifically my husband states “they’re so good they wreck empanadas from anywhere else.”)

"Wanna Empanada" was an amazing find! We spotted their food truck at the Greenburgh Nature Center and decided to give it a try. The chicken and beef empanadas were absolutely delicious!
