Do not pass WORTH THE STOP So we were a bit concerned when we pulled in, but I could tell this was still being renovated on the outside. The band new banner told me this was someone trying to start new. And aren't we glad we did!!! The owners and their family were all polite, friendly, helpful, and welcoming. They were honest and upfront about things they had or didn't, and were quick to offer suggestions if needed. All the food was quick and delicious. The fresh shoestring fries were awesome!! My 10 year old got a meatball sub.... it was HUGE. She was so excited she could bring some home to Dad. Both said it was phenomenal!

From the outside, place looks like an old restaurant that was closed for a while. The new owners have fixed up the inside pretty nice, except it was a little on the chilly side. You place your order at the counter, then pick out a table to sit and they bring your food to you. The Cheddar Broccoli Soup was very tasty, we couldn't decide if it was made inhouse or not. I thought Lacey's Homemade Mac and Cheese was very good. The better half's Chicken Parm Sandwich was very good too. Service was a little slow, a guy who came in the same time as we did, waited 20 minutes for a cup of soup. The woman behind the counter apologized a number of times for the delay. Not much of a selection and terrible service. My son and I got there and we stood at the counter for almost 10 minutes and the only people were 4 in a booth in the corner and they were waiting even longer before finally a kitchen worker saw us and alerted a waitress. No one was on a sales floor or behind the counter at all but a bunch of people in the kitchen and something was burning. We waited quite a while for our food and they didn't have french fries. How can you not have french fries? The food was generic, tasteless, bland, and my son's sandwich was burnt. First and last time...
