Carvel — Restaurant in Town of Oyster Bay

I walked in, the place was empty, and the only employee at the store was preparing something but she did not say hello or ask me to wait for service. So I just stood there waiting for her to finish what she was doing and then she went to the back and came out after a minute or so. I probably waited 3 minutes for her to finish when the store was empty. I would have appreciated it if she told me that she would help me soon but she let me stand there and watch her do her thing first. I had ordered a cake and asked for a candle. She said they don't give out free candles and pointed me in the direction of the shelf where they had candles for purchase. I have been coming to this location for birthday cakes for 10 yrs and I remember they gave candles for birthday cakes. Maybe they discontinued that service or maybe the employee was...

Been craving carvel a bunch this summer and coming here. I noticed as weird, but never really gave a second thought to the fact that the servers will very quickly push the buttons on the card machine for you. This happened Every time I went. I just happened to be looking at the machine this time when they did it again and i noticed that they are VERY QUICKLY pressing the buttons and including a 25% tip!!!! I Would never have noticed if I hadn't been looking at the screen at the exact moment. They had it timed so perfectly the screen barely flashed.

The servers should NOT be touching the card machine!

This was not a one time event. It happened at least 10 times this summer and with multiple different...

Came in 50 minutes before it says they close both online and at the store on a Friday night. The two young girls working were hanging out with they’re friends. Not working. all 3 girls and one boy gave us dirty looks because we interrupted they’re hang out... The workers were very rude and had attitude like they were closed already. 50 minutes before they closed! Was told they didn’t have anything that required blending or mixing, which is half the menu because the machines were cleaned already. Told the girl I was allergic to the fudge they serve so I asked for extra peanut butter instead of fudge. I got 99% ice cream and maybe a half scoop of peanut butter in my PEANUT BUTTER...
