Linda's Family Diner — Restaurant in Town of Pembroke

I brought my family here because my kids wanted a quick bite while on a road trip. My husband and 5 kids ordered burgers and fries (all of which were grossly overcooked) I ordered their "julienne salad". This salad looked like they pulled it straight out of the trash can. Hardboiled eggs were grossly overcooked, she tossed rolled lunch meat and chopped kraft cheese on top. There are no greens in their salad. She has no idea what green peppers, romane lettuce, arugula or spinach are. The old bat had the audacity to yell at me about my attire because I refused to pay for the garbage salad. This place is disgusting and our family will never be returning to this trailer in the middle of no where. Cash payments only because their food is trash and people keep asking...

This is hands down the best diner in the area!! You feel like you're walking into your mom's house to have some breakfast! Kim, the waitress is absolutely the sweetest and does a wonderful job of taking care of you! The feel of the place is so warm and inviting that you definitely will be at home! 90's Country music lightly plays in the background while you enjoy your meal! Perfect little diner. Great location. Prices are more than reasonable. Very home like feeling. We had the pancakes, an omelet, a potato cake and homefries. Everything was great!! I highly recommend the pancakes. Really good coffee too! Service was good, everyone was friendly. There were some regulars in there and it warms my heart to see that relationship with the employees.
