Fred's Pendleton Pizza — Restaurant in Town of Pendleton

Their customer service is appalling. I had a driver argue with me and tell me that his GPS said my house was a barn (it is not and is clearly marked with my address.) I had a driver come to my door and tell me I ordered something when I didn’t ( he had the address wrong.) They are almost never polite, please, thank you and other common curtesy things we say in the course of a conversation are lost on these people. They messed up my order, when I called to stop the driver and have him turn around and pick back up the sub I didn’t order, I was told I ordered it and they at first seemed reluctant to do anything about it. I demanded they come get the food I didn’t order and bring me what I did, it was another half hour wait, we live a minute away, I could have walked there quicker. In the mean time my kids had to wait for their dinner. The only thing that could possibly make this worse is if they spit in the new sub they gave us. I told them I won’t be ordering from them again and I won’t until they get a handle on their staff ie: answering the phone properly hello, goodbye etc., explains not to argue with customers when they tell you that you have the wrong address. This is ridiculous, how do they stay in business?? Don’t waste your money, from now on...

This is a nice little place, it seems to be set up more for takeout and delivery than dine in because the dining room is very basic, but the people are very nice, the food is delicious (especially the wings when you ask for them to be crispy!), and the price isn’t bad. The sweet sauce on the pizza was a little bit of an unexpected flavor, it may not be to your liking. I’ll try the regular sauce next time myself.

Edited to add: one week later and I’ve tried the normal sauce. This pie was excellent, and I dare say the wings were even better than last time. They may very well be the best I’ve ever had!

Edited to add more; had a terrible experience last night. All I needed was 10 wings and an Italian sub delivered 200 feet away where I was able to park my semi. They said half an hour, which I thought was a little much but I said all right. And hour later and I had to call to convince them to bring it to me. The food was cold. It was obvious they did not want to be bothered traveling such a short distance to get me my food, but being that I was in a semi and handicapped I couldn’t get to them. After their lousy attitude, I don’t think I’ll be back. I’ll get my subs from the gas station...

Just moved into the area and have been ordering from John’s down the road! Figured I would try this place. I ordered 2 subs one for my wife and the other for myself! Chicken finger medium dry and turkey dry subs. I get to location where it was busy, very unorganized, employees running all over, orders not being found. I paid for my subs and when I arrived home there were 3 subs in the bag, none of which I ordered and all 3 were loaded with mayo which I’m allergic too. Needless to say I’ll never go back and will continue to order from the over priced Johns. At least they are organized and orders are correct. I’ll spend the extra money! I hope this is a mistake because they were busy but who isn’t on a...
