Pendleton Creek Pub — Restaurant in Town of Pendleton

In the past I would have given Pendleton Creek Pub a 5 but our last 2 meals there have not warranted a high score. Last night we had to wait to be seated for way too long. Then again for the second time in a row we got a very underexperienced waiter. I am ok with new servers but between both visits we've had water dumped all over us, did not get meals as we ordered, got our dinner salads at the same time as the dinners and we had to keep asking for things. I understand new servers but it just seemed both servers needed more training. As for our food my fish fry was not cooked extra golden brown, the fries seemed like I got what was left over from an earlier batch (many little bits and many were hard) barely any tartar sauce, coleslaw and the food was barely warm. We have been there in the past during Lent and the fish fries were excellent. One of the dinners with us got the lobster ravioli and not only was disappointed by it in general, her food was also lukewarm. Our other two diners got burgers and you can't beat the burgers there. They don't disappoint. There was a burger that was on the menu with bourbon barbecue sauce, onion frizzles and blue cheese (add bacon and you are in burger heaven) that has been dropped from the menu. It was delicious and I hope they add it back soon. It was my favorite dish there. Will try then again as we have had really good experiences...

Pendleton Creek Pub is a go to spot for my wife and me as the food is great and we enjoy the atmosphere and service. This past Saturday we made reservations for a party of 13 to celebrate my birthday. Everything was phenomenal! The food was excellent, the prices great, and the service was outstanding! I had the rib special, for $20 I was presented with a melt in my mouth half rack of ribs with great fries. There was a ton of meat on the bones and I ended up taking some home to enjoy later. As good as the food was, the service was even better. When you have a large party you fully expect to have meals come out slowly or in shifts as well as delays in drink refills. That was most definitely not the case for us Our server, Lisa Anderson was fantastic! She had drinks refilled before we had a chance to ask and all of our meals came out perfect, hot, and served at the same time! I was extremely impressed with every aspect of our dinner experience. Pretty inside with a large square bar in the center a dining room with low tables on one side. and some high top tables on side by the covered patio.High ceilings make.it easy to carry on a conversation. They are very accommodating by offering to connect tables for larger groups and offering separate bills too. This makes it a great place to meet friends or family. There's a covered entrance from the gravel parking lot with easy access to the pub. Once again our service and food were very good. The salads were large and tasty as well as the roast beef and burgers with hand cut fries. You may want to get there early on nights with live music as the parking lot...
