Newly opened, but by the quality of our meal, they will be open for many years to come. Where else in the North Country can you find homemade corned beef hash? Delicious! I had the Hasbrown Skillet (with a side order of hash) topped with over easy eggs. I had to take half of it home with me, very filling, and so good! Right now this establishment is cash only, but luckily they have an ATM inside ($2.75 fee) and are next door to DFCU (good for us locals). Despite being busy (they just opened a few days ago) the service was excellent and reminded me of the days when the Homestead was open here, many years ago. With the long standing history of the building and the many happy memories I have of eating here as a child (when it ran as the Homestead) I am very happy to see this place has finally fallen into the right hands, congrats Penny! We will be back again soon, and can't wait to try everything...

I had such a wonderful experience at this diner! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile and felt right at home. Our server, Paige, went above and beyond—friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our meal.

The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. You can tell real care goes into every dish. It’s the kind of place where you can enjoy comfort food done right, but with the kind of service that makes the whole experience special.

Don’t ever eat here I went here and got a beard hair in my food and penny proceeded to tell me that is not the first time I have complained about hair in my food when she could tell me my name nor have I ever complained about hair then gave me all sorts of attitude and when I asked her what am I doing wrong nobody wants to pay 25 dollars for beard hair in thier food she told me to sign my paper and leave or I would be escorted out do not go to this establishment they don’t want to make things right and will cause you of putting hair in your own food just so they don’t have to come you or remake it never will I go back never been so disrespected in my life stay far away owner is terrible doesn’t...
