The Lily Cafe & Restaurant — Restaurant in Town of Pomfret

As one of the only places to eat in Lily Dale, I was shocked. It was raining so we stopped in for something to drink and a bowl of soup. Well, thet ran out of soup. We all were going to get the chicken orzo soup and they came back out and said They only had enough for one bowl. I did not want the bottom of the barrel but one of my friends took the chance. It looked like they took some shredded chicken, very little mind you and added it to some chicken stock. Not one piece of orzo was in the bowl. Two of us opted for the chili. Paid extra for cheese on the top. It came out and the cheese was not melted at all and the chili was cold and nasty. Was thick like canned!! I will definitely visit the town again but I would never go back there to eat. The only indoor place to eat on a cold day and they should be ashamed of themselves. The food was a sorry excuse and nit cheap. 6 if us ate lunch for 130 dollars and all left hungry.
