Today I ordered pastrami sandwich on a hero role for $10.99. I asked for Russian dressing and coleslaw. When I got the bill I saw they were going to charge me $7.48 for coleslaw on the sandwich. I cancelled the coleslaw. I live in NYC. Not known for low prices. I have never been charged for coleslaw on my sandwich. But if I were, it would be like 1.00 like some places charge for sliced tomato. Anyway, just be warned to check your bill at this place. From now on I will stick to buying their bagels which are excellent. I am looking forward to reading the owner's response. He seems to have an answer for everyone. I was back at Jessie's this week and had a good conversation with Jesse the owner. I have seen her behind the counter for years. I did not know she is the owner. She has always provided great service and I now understand that what happened to me was a mistake by a...

Food was mid. Walked in at 3:20 and the lady behind register rolled her eyes and walked away as if she was annoyed I came in 40 minutes before close. I waited to place my order and when I did, I ordered a #2 panini and she asked me “what is that?” With an attitude. I told her what the menu described it as. She then walked away before I could place my second sandwich order. I asked the other lady that was working and she was short worded and seemed annoyed as well. The phone was ringing off the hook and they laughed and ignored it. Just a weird vibe. I felt so uncomfortable while waiting for my food. Their energy was just off and you could feel that they didn’t want to make my food or even have a costumer in there. Why work at a place you don’t want to be. It’s clear these workers don’t...

Stopped in for a breakfast sandwich and coffee, both very good and the place inside is beautiful nice spot to eat. My only criticism is they should needle/persuade their old landlord at 201/203 Orange Tpke to clean up the blighted property. It is an eyesore for years with the original store just slowly crumbling and rotting into oblivion. In this market, why not sell the property. Or at the very least knock down the decrepit buildings. We all take pride in our homes and properties and this is an unnecessary blight on the village and the area. Now that they have moved 2 stores will just sit there and rot. I'm not blaming them as it appears they don't own the property but its not right to...

Such a cute place next door to their previous place, which is next door to the place before that. They have lots of options that I'll need to go back and try soon. This time I got the eggplant panini and it was very good, and I don't like eggplant! The only issue was that it had too much oil on it for my taste, but it was still the best eggplant sandwich that I've ever had. The fries and onion rings were also good and not greasy at all. The iced coffee with hazelnut syrup was also delicious and refreshing. The young man who took our order was also super nice and very helpful in deciding what to order.

I was happy she was open but a little disappointed in her customer service. I didn’t feel welcomed but I was hungry. I ordered a bacon egg and cheese on a everything bagel. I wasn’t happy with it my bagel was soft she never toasted it and I don’t know how the sandwich was so dry if I asked for ketchup on it. Half the lights where off. I wouldn’t come back here. Easy parking

They've moved to a new larger location just 300feet away from the original location. The food is excellent, the portions are large, the coffee is great but most important is the friendly staff. Their smiles are genuine and just a comforting place to be. I would highly recommend stopping in for lunch with a friend or two. And you'll become a regular.
