Montage Italian Grill — Restaurant in Town of Reading

I Tried the new grill at the Laurel, I was impressed. The menu is limited but the food is very good! Brand new owners that have done a nice job at remodeling the place. I will absolutely visit again! My only complaint, I have tried to visit on a couple of occasions only to find them closed. The hours are difficult to find on the website and their FB page. It seems 4pm is the opening time based on a FB post this past Friday. As a local, I heard a rumor that this may be a year round restaurant and I was excited to hear that. Beautiful view of Seneca Lake and excellent food. Never heard of eggplant fries before. They had them. We ate them and they were delicious. The special for the evening was grilled chicken and shitake mushrooms in a gorgonzola cream sauce served over bow tie pasta. The sauce was excellent. Been here because my first choice restaurant downtown was crowded. Great view, but industrial overpriced food. Pasta were cooked right, but the chicken Lorenzo was just "from the plastic bag" chicken thrown into a gravy supposed to contains gorgonzola and served by waiters smelling cigarettes. But who cares? I'm just a tourist, and won't never come...
