McDonald's — Restaurant in Town of Richfield

I have visited the McDonald’s location in Richfield, NY on several occasions, and I would like to share my observations to provide a balanced perspective for prospective customers.

This establishment offers a convenient option for fast food in the area, which is appreciated given the limited dining choices nearby. In terms of cleanliness, I have noticed improvements in recent visits, with the interior appearing more well-maintained than in years past. The staff has generally been courteous, particularly during off-peak hours, and there seems to be an ongoing effort from management to enhance customer service standards.

However, consistency remains an issue. Service times can be notably slow, especially during busier periods, and order accuracy has occasionally been problematic. On multiple visits, I experienced extended wait times at the drive-thru and found that certain menu items, such as frappes, were unavailable for prolonged durations. Additionally, the quality of food is inconsistent; some orders have arrived with cold fries or less fresh ingredients, and presentation varies significantly.

The cleanliness of the dining area and restrooms also fluctuates, with some visits revealing unattended trash and less-than-satisfactory upkeep.

In summary, while McDonald’s in Richfield serves its purpose as a quick meal stop and has made commendable efforts to improve service and cleanliness, the variability in food quality and customer experience may not meet all expectations. This is the only stop for quick food on route 20 for well over an hour and it is by far the worst McDonald's I've ever been to. Not only is the wait over 10 to 20 minutes each time the food is absolutely horrible. My family and I travel this same route every week to Albany and each time we need to stop the food is disgusting it's either over cooked, the chicken is almost always missing from the sandwich, the fries are always rubbery and taste old but this morning was even more enlightening.. not only did we wait for 30 minutes the hash brown was very much well done and the oatmeal not only had cold water for days but lots of nice black hair in it! Now I know for a fact it was not mine or anyone in my car because we all have blonde hair so clearly it came from inside.. filthy establishment, terrible food, and someone there needs a hair net! My advise take out this McDonald's and put in a Dunkin donuts or hire people who can actually...

We were there on Sept 30,2017, When we entered the restaurant it was empty so we figured we would have our meal in a pretty quick time, it took a good ten minutes to fill our order of 2 big Mac meals, When we received our order our fries were cold and old tasting, I think they were left over fries from a earlier time that was just left under the heat laps, I returned the fries and they replaced them but to be honest they tasted like they were the same fries but they might have just stuck them back in the the hot oil.The condiment containers were empty which surprised me as when we got there the employees were just standing around like there wasn't nothing to do.A gentleman came in and he had to use the restroom and apparently that was a mess because he had to wait until someone went in and cleaned and took out garbage before he could get in there.I don't know what has happened to McDonald's but lately it's a disgusting...
