Richford Pizza Plus — Restaurant in Town of Richford

This is my second time coming to this place. First time was December 31, on my home from the Ithaca airport. I ordered a Stromboli. Easy enough a large pizza folded in half, that is exactly what I got. It was mostly crust. From the edge to the filling was 1 1/2 inches. The filling was so greasy you couldn’t eat it without soaking up some of the grease with a couple of paper towels first. Thought ok I won’t do that again! Tonight on my way home from Owego I phoned in my order. A medium pizza, asking for extra sauce there was barely any on it; the toppings were very thin small pieces of sausage, a few green peppers which were burnt, some onions, and pepperoni. A medium pizza is easy enough to cut into 8 pieces as well. I had two pieces and my husband had two pieces, half a pizza you would think, wrong it was a third of the pizza, not sure how you cut a pizza in 8 slices with 4 being 1/3 and the other 4 being 2/3s but that in all honesty was the best part of the pizza. It took me 5 months to go back after the first time. The next time I will wait the extra time and drive the extra distance and go to Fortunatos in Newark Valley or go the other direction to Dominic’s in Whitney Point. When we walked in it was a ghost town at 5pm...😳 that should have been my first clue. Anyways we were not greeted, yet just stared at for a second then the worker hoped right back on her phone scrolling through Facebook or whatever. Another lady happened to be scurrying by when she asked if she could help us. We asked for a menu so we could order out. We looked over it, decided what we wanted and about 5 min later our order was finally taken after the lady on the phone decided she was done scrolling. We didn't have to wait long on the food " they were dead so that's probably why" the lady that asked in the beginning if we needed to be helped had to pretty much force the other lady to ring us out. I wanted a recipt for my order, but before we could get our payment through the lady got a phone call on her personal phone and just took off. I stood there for a second waiting but ended up just leaving. The lesson to be learned here is please have better customer service skills. It's not hard to be nice and acknowledge ppl who are...

Had higher hopes for this place than i should have. Ordered a burger medium that came burnt like a hockey puck dry as a bone which is amazing because the bun was soggy and falling apart; not to mention the bbq sauce was literally only on a quarter of the burger. Onion rings and fries were under cooked and soggy and apparently if you order what could be a side they dont give you chips with your burger they just throw the soggy fries in with the burger. The boneless wings literally were about the size of McNuggets and it should be a crime charging $10 for 12 mcnuggets since its 20 mcnuggets for $6.
