Monies Macarons — Restaurant in Town of Riverhead

If you love macarons, you can easily be spoiled by Monies Macarons. I was lucky enough to come across her table at the Port Jefferson Farmers Market last month and was very impressed with not only the high quality of the macarons, but with the originality of the flavors. There were samples of every flavor, which allowed me the opportunity to make the difficult decision about which ones to select. Not only do Monies Macarons look visually stunning, but they taste incredible. These macarons were even better than the ones I had at Ladurée in Beverly Hills, my previous favorite. The exterior of Monies Macarons has a very light crunch and the interior is soft and chewy. Literally the perfect macaron. I was happy to see Monie was back today and I purchased a bunch more, my favorite being the Marshmallow Peeps flavor, which was a surprise as I don’t like Marshmallow Peeps. I asked Monie about an order for this summer and she said it wouldn’t be a problem, so I will definitely be purchasing...

Wow! I came across Monie’s Macarons at the Port Jefferson farmer’s market, and they were hands down the best macarons I’ve had! I couldn’t believe the variety of flavors she had on display, and every one of them were delicious and perfectly made (banana and matcha were my favorites.) I bought two different variety packs, and I’m so glad I did because I was able to try twelve different flavors of her delicious macarons. And the packaging was beautiful too! I’ll definitely be back for more, and I can’t wait to order some for an event...

We ordered 150 macarons for a baby shower! Monie matched the color of the macarons to our theme! She even added gorgeous gold leafing to each and every cookie! They were exquisite! The combination of the numerous fillings she offered (chocolate ganache, pistachio, vanilla, salted caramel, guava, raspberry, and strawberry), perfectly complemented each chewy delicate cookie!
