First time here. It's definitely a nice little hidden gem. My overall experience was just ok. The service was ok but could have been better, maybe because our waiter said he was new. We started with the bone marrow which was excellent although we asked to have it come out first to share but it ended up coming out after our appetizers. Then it took what seemed like an eternity for our dinners to come out. The lamb pops had an option between blue cheese or something else (can't remember) but we were never asked which we wanted. It came out with blue cheese and my girlfriend doesn't like it. They quickly took it back and resolved it without issue. Overall the food was excellent. The atmosphere, however, was terrible! They had live music in the bar which was nice but between that, the bar itself and the packed dining room it was so loud that we had to yell to each other just to have a conversation. The couple sitting next to us were just as upset about it too. Maybe if the owners put in some kind of sound absorbing materials like heavy curtains or rugs instead of everything being hardwood and maybe even a door separating the bar area then it wouldn't be so bad. It really is a nice little place so we'll definitely go back to try it again, hopefully next time it's a little quieter.

My sister and I visited the Watershed Kitchen and Bar located inside the Bay Breeze Inn last week. We made a reservation over the phone, the woman was polite and kind. We were taken to our seats as soon as we arrived. The place was packed with an upbeat vibe. There was a bar (on the other side of the wall) with live music playing. It was nice to hear the music without it being too loud. The restaurant had a cozy feel. It was freezing outside and toasty warm inside. I ordered the white sangria, which was refreshing. The roasted chicken was one of the best I’ve had. The chicken was tender and juicy with a delicious truffle jus. The sweet potato purée was out of this world!!! My sister, ordered the Tagliatelle with pesto and shrimp, and said it was amazing. The waitress was very polite and checked on us a few times throughout the meal. I highly recommend this restaurant! I will definitely be returning to try some of their other dishes. I look forward to visiting in the warmer months as there was a cute outdoor patio area with seating and fire pits.

Very curious as to how this restaurant scored a 4.6, and because we relied on the reviews, we were terribly disappointed. The service was scattered with one server covering the entire dining room - resulting in a lot of confusion. We were greeted twice before we were seated, asked twice for water preferences, ordered drinks, asked again about drinks - before the server realized she already spoke with us and stopped herself mid sentence. Minutes later, she came back and asked to us remind her of what we ordered! French onion soup was bland (and came out before the drinks). Both the Branzino and skirt steak were overcooked. The broccolini was forgotten, came out late, and much too oily (this item was comped). Presentation was sloppy. Everyone was very nice, but the execution was a failure all around. Also, very strange that an unreasonable number of dishes included chimichurri. Maybe that should have tipped us off. Would not recommend.

This place opened in October or November in the year of COVID. I first came in late January or early February for lunch. When i walked into the Inn lobby i asked the young woman if they were serving lunch. A slight hesitation and then a yes. I was the only person in the beautiful sun lite room. I ordered from the lunch menu a burger. She said the chef was starting up the kitchen for me as on that day of the week they are open for dinner only. I was served a delicious burger with plenty of fries. The comfort of the room impressed me. Simplicity in decor showing good taste. I was determined to return for brunch. And i did this past weekend with my family. We all ordered something different and we gave it a five all the way. Even the 10 year old enjoyed his selection. Sorry I didn’t take photos. I love this place. You must check for hours of operation. I will return for breakfast on a Saturday.

April 2022. This place is still top notch. Great service, excellent food and good pricing. We came Restaurant week and they presented a beautiful menu. We had Dominican mussels, bronzino over fresh fingerling potatoes and spinach and ended with cheesecake and freshly whipped cream. The place has a wonderful intimate dining room and a separate pub room. Love coming here. Music got loud towards the last hour. Too bad as the acoustics is not good. Due to low ceiling I’m sure. While it was difficult to hear one another when the dining room is full, the music both the loudness and type made the evening end sooner than we wanted it to.

August 2022. Because this place is consistently very good I never hesitate to introduce this restaurant to my family and friends. Today was no exception. So impressed were they that we are planning our next return. Small, intimate, warm and sunny on a perfect outdoor on the deck visit we stayed and marveled at the peaceful atmosphere and pleasant view. I had their grilled chicken and fries. Man sized sandwich could only eat half. Delicious. My guest had the hummus and said it was excellent. Perfect size for her. Contentment indeed. The wait service is excellent. They will do anything to make sure you are satisfied. Good job to Patricia and James the owners.

July 2024. Came with friend for Brunch. Delightful staff - smiles and helpful in answering questions. I had a delicious vegetable frittata. Had to ask server to remove salad on top. I can’t eat any salad. She took it to chef complied with my request and the top was not loaded with delicious goat cheese which was not visible under the greens. Suggestion: if salad is included it should be on the side. Coffee is very good. My companion had the Belgium waffles with strawberries and cream. We had to sit indoors as between high temperature and high humidity and no breeze, the modern dining room was very...

I did not have a good experience during my dine in at this place. The service need some improvement. my kids were starving and was becoming very unsettlingly and noisy after waiting for more than an hour to get our food. The bad service ruined our experience at this place which I must say the restaurant do have very good ambiance. I had to physically go to the kitchen area to chase down the waitress twice in order to get the some service. First time, just to get her to take our orders and bring some water and the second time to get them to bring some food out so my kids can eat something after waiting for more than a hour and was starving. Our waitress did apologize and telling me that she was busy, so we should bear with her. meanwhile, I watched the another family of four with kids came in after us, sat beside us and they got a different waitress took their order and served their food and finished and paid while we were still waiting for our appetizer to come out and my two year old son was crying because he was so hungry. I had to apologize to the table next to us that my son was making all the noises, and they were very understanding. The scene my son was making was caused entirely by the slow service of our waitress. The restaurant was not packed, so it might be busy, but not overwhelming. and after the first time I chase down my waitress, I saw her grab our water and came our way and then she place the tray on the bar and then left it there, walked pass us and went to serve a couple that sat on the deck outside and then came back to grab the tray to give us water. oh, yeah, it wasn't the waitress I chase down on the second time, it was the hostess I chase down. She brought us the food and the plates that goes with the food. our table was empty the entire time, no plate, no bread that my kid could have nimble on. So, I don't think that this restaurant has a problem, but I think our waitress was the problem, but that does come back to the restaurant, who probably has a management issue. I say for the price they are charging, I would expect that they be more attentive and focus on serving their customers properly, especially the ones with kids. The table next to us with a different waitress...

The place is nicely decorated and we had a warm welcome ,but none of the staff were wearing masks ,yet they have a sign to wear them as per NYS mandate. We sat down and it was very unorganized. We saw a cocktail sheet on a clip board and when I asked about wine it was like a deer in headlights. The nice waitress asked red or white ,I said red and she said Cabernet. I asked is that it ,just one type and she said would you like a taste? Lol a few minutes later she comes to table with 4 bottles in hands and under her arm, ohh they do have more types lol. What an amateur hour. Ok we decided on a bottle and then ordered dinner. Ordered chicken wings ( later comes back saying no bbq sauce ),fried calamari ,way way over priced for the tiny portion size ,though it was very tender. We also ordered the shasito peppers ,but they never came with the rest and it’s evident they forgot. We ordered main entrees ,out of truffles ravioli. The menu is so limited as it is and with a single page it’s good to be told what you are out of so not surprised when it’s time to order. The halibut was a 4oz portion ,at the price point that’s way over priced. My pasta meal was a creamy basil pesto, that should be mentioned on menu as well pesto is pesto. Creamy basil pesto is different and the pasta was not ala dente at all. We dine in the city more than out here and get way better meals. At the price point the watershed is at they can’t be so unorganized and amateur and charge there prices for what it is. The waitress was nice though and maybe she is learning still the waitress did give us a shot of pineapple vodka to apologize for the mess up’s and was very sweet trying to make up for the mistakes. And a Malbec for $63. Would be nice to see the price on a wine list...
