Chubby Bubba's BBQ — Restaurant in Town of Rock

Chubby Bubba's has been my top favorite in the area right behind Tony and Maria's for a long time. I usually get the Meatzza when ordering. It's always been so good until recently. One of the biggest reasons I like the pizza so much is the toppings they use. The sausage and ham specifically. No other pizza place in the area had ham like Chubby Bubba's. They were big and thick pieces which you don't see in pizza places It's been a little bit since I ordered a pizza, so the other day I finally did. I have to say I was not impressed at all. The toppings all taste different and the ham is now a diced ham which I definitely do not like.

I give the review 3 stars because the food itself is ok, but it's just not as good as it was before. I get that costs have risen across the board for restaurants, but I feel like they could have kept the toppings they had and raised the prices a little. I think that would keep people around longer than just changing altogether. I doubt I'll be ordering from them again and that's a real shame. This meat lovers pizza was just so good. Not anymore...

We live in Roscoe and ordered through DoorDash. We did NOT realize that they were in Janesville. We called to try and cancel our order through them. The lady on the phone was VERY pleasant, polite, and helpful. We could not figure out how to cancel so we proceeded with the order. I could not believe that our food actually arrived HOT. Even from a 15-20 minute drive away. We ordered a medium pizza and breadsticks. Both were fantastic. Crust cooked to perfection. Perfect amount of cheese and toppings. Sauce excellent. My ONLY complaint is that it was slightly salty, the pizza. Will definitely order from here again and will recommend. Thank you for such great pizza and friendly service! Hands down the best extra cheese pizza I've had. This is what I would call "Ninja Turtle Pizza", and by that I mean the kind of pizza just oozing cheese yet staying together and not sliding off the top. I hate that. This place did NOT disappoint, at all! Thank you for putting an awesome end to a sort of glum day yesterday with that pie that was delicious as it was gorgeous. I travel a lot so I've ordered from a lot of pizza joints, and I will repeat that this place can't be missed, especially their XL extra cheese pizza.... I haven't tried the HWY 51 location but their Milton Ave location is the one I ordered from. Fast delivery, awesome pizza, friendly service and great prices. All in all...
