Lake Sherwood Lodge — Restaurant in Town of Rome

Walked in, we werent greeted by anyone, sat ourselves. Sat outside, waited 15 mins to get acknowledged because the server was busy sitting with her friends. We finally got menus. Ordered drinks. Ordered food right away, it wasnt even that busy. Got our appetizer 2 mins before our food, was never asked once in the 45 min wait if we needed anything. Food came, it was cold. The server wanted to walk away and I had to ask for condiments before she did. We ate not that good food, for the 50 dollars we paid for it we expected it to be better. I had to find the server for a box and our bill as she didnt even ask us how the food was or if we needed anything the whole time we ate. Tried to try something new, never again. Definitely wont be back. A total of 2 hours we were there and it was completely unpleasant. I serve for a living and it was by far the worst service I have ever...

Took 60 minutes for an appetizer of chips to come. Food sat in window getting cold for over 10 minutes before we got the chips so it came right after appetizer. When telling them we no longer wanted that appetizer we were told it's just two of us to wait on 10 tables and wouldn't take the chips back. Food of course was all cold. Never going here again for lunch! Drinks we reasonable price but once we went to the bar to get our bill we noticed an up charges for everything...veggies for the sandwiches .50 cents for a slice of tomato, lettuce, onion and pickles. Very poor service. Had to ask 3 different times to have our table cleaned from previous people. Started off ordering drinks and waited 20 minutes for them and didn't get what was ordered. So then after that waited 20 minutes for the waitress to come back to order food. Waited for an hour and half for our food. When it finally came out it was all cold. For it being Thursdays $1.00 burger special, waiting as long as we did and having it all come out cold, was ridiculous!
