Boone's Saloon — Restaurant in Town of Saratoga

We dined here on Sunday night with our neighbors for the first time. Looks are deceiving from the exterior because when you enter Boone's becomes comfortable and friendly! Boone's is quite bigger than you imaging from the outside and there is a large bar, ample seating with dining tables and booths. Our server was the bartender, Karen, who is an excellent mixologist and knowledgeable employee. She told us the daily specials, mixed our Bloody Mary's and Old Fashioned's to perfection, and checked on us often. This, while she was the only bartender and server! Our orders included the Rueben with actual corned beef, Cheeseburger with baked potato, Chili, Haddock, and the Chicken/bacon Wrap. Everything was cooked great and tasted fantastic! We accidentally ran across Boon's Saloon at lunchtime, and we couldn't have been more pleased. Kay was the bartender, and she was great. I had the jalapeño burger, and it surpassed my expectations. My work partner had a spicy chicken wrap, and he gave it 5 stars. My phone was at 1%, and one of the other patrons had a cable, and Kay had a charger, so I could charge my phone during lunch. Great people. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that this place isn't within driving distance from my house so I could enjoy a drink with them. Word is they were second place for the fish fry competition last year. They serve fish all week long instead of only Friday. I highly suggest you try it out. Nobody wore masks. I am originally from Wisconsin Rapids. I live in Phoenix now but I come home for Easter every year. I always order fish fry from Boone's Saloon. They have always had the largest best fish in the area. I ordered and then decided to have a jack and coke while I waited, I noticed that no one not even the employees wore masks. I honestly would not have cared so much but the food was for my 65 year old mother who is very at risk. I got strange looks from the full bar of people not wearing masks because I was the only one that had a mask on, I didn't care, nobody social distanced and it was a very uncomfortable atmosphere.
