Two Brothers Deli & Pizza — Restaurant in Town of Saugerties

This is a wonderful establishment , the owner and the employees are always friendly and accommodating, they always make it their personal mission to ensure that every customer is happy, I order from them at least 2 - 3 times a week , I can honestly say that in the rare moments that something is wrong with my order, the management makes sure to not only fix the problem but also offer something to show their appreciation of their customers and for the care they have when they do have a situation that is not expected…

The Food Is Excellent , The Service Is top notch and the preparation is nothing short of professional , my personal favorites are The Philly Cheese Steak , The Calzone , The Turkey Sub Sandwich , The Meatball Subs . Their Entree Dinners Are The Best in the area , if your on the fence about what restaurant to choose in the area, then worry no more , this restaurant is as good as you can get in the area , they are better then the Village pizza in Catskill & Saugerties , they are better then the other 3 pizza restaurants in Saugerties and they are better then the other 4 pizza restaurants in Catskill . And their Caesar salad is amazing. This restaurant is definitely worth the time and money . updating my review as my company gave us sub sandwiches from here. Sandwich was good for the most part... until I bit into a hard piece and spit out a metal staple.(photo included)

What the?? I'm assuming this is from the deli meats that may come wrapped with some staples on the outside... Still not okay. Someone could've choked on a piece of metal had they not chewed their food more like I have to. This just adds to the negligence that has been experienced from this place... I decided to give Two Brothers a chance before knowing the severity of their mediocrity. Well, I learned soon enough after picking up my order, which consisted of chicken tenders and boneless chicken wings. In that same order, Two Brothers managed to undercook the floppy breaded flaps called chicken tenders AND burn the boneless wings into shameful dry nuggets. Both food items were sadly inedible and had to be discarded. Total waste of money, but I'd rather lose money than become violently ill due to whatever incompetence that plagues this business. Tried the pizza at a company arrangement....Okay, the pizza is great if you love slopping messes of orange grease that is guaranteed to upset your bowels within the same day and toppings that seemingly jump off to their escape before reaching your mouth. Ultimately, it is your choice to stop in for a greasy slice or to push harder on the gas pedal as you drive by this...

The food is hit and miss, usually pretty decent, but the service is consistently terrible. Went to the restaurant to get slices and the guy gave my girlfriend an attitude because we requested he wear gloves to put the pizza in the to go box, and an unwarranted scoff and dirty look for the request of napkins. I have called for delivery on a few occasions and that is an entirely different horrible service experience. The young lady answering the phone did not even say hello or ask to please hold, but simply placed the phone on the countertop and I could hear the workers in the background for 20 minutes until someone just hung up the phone. I called back and again the phone was placed on the countertop without a greeting or a request to please hold, after 10 minutes I hung up the phone and attempted to call back, with no luck, as the phone on their end was obviously left off the receiver and I got a busy tone for the next 20 minutes. When I was finally able to speak to the young lady to place my order she was rude. The food is decent but it's the service that will leave a bad taste in your mouth. If the owners are present the service improves, I would suggest employing a manager that enforces polite customer service. Another customer that was at one time a regular will settle for sub par food at a friendlier establishment, and not return to two brothers until some changes are...
