I doubt i’ve ever been treated worse by both staff and patrons at any other establishment. The middle aged female bartender was polite enough today but wouldnt give me the Sunday discount every other patron is treated to. I was harassed by 2 other older female patrons who chased my car down as I was pulling out and accused me of being a prostitute and a drug addict. This was me giving the Ding a second chance, as the last time I was there with my fiance we were kicked out after having one drink and accused of causing problems that we were in no way responsible for. We have never done anything except try to buy food and drinks at the Ding and we are treated like trash because apparently we are “different”. In short, if you are a moderately attractive female, or if you look act or smell the tiniest bit different from all the long time stuck up clique crew of local patrons ( who seem to be wasted and obnoxious most of the time) i’d recommend going elsewhere. Unless you enjoy being harassed, discriminated against and being held responsible for other people’s...

Went to the ding tonight. Walked in and were acknowledged by staff upon arrival. So we proceeded to seat ourselves at a table. Was anyone going to bring us menus? Not a chance (at least not in the 30 minutes we waited). After watching staff serve other tables, multiple people from my table tried going to the bar to request menus and was avoided by the bar staff (they saw us approaching, but BOTH bartenders split up and went separate directions and avoided looking in our direction as though they didn’t care to even speak to us). We went back to the table and waited a few more minutes and then decided that this establishment clearly didn’t care that we were there so I made the bar staff aware that their service is terrible to which their reply was “okay” and we went to a different place to get food and drinks. To say I’m disappointed is a serious understatement. I like to support local businesses, but this place does not deserve my business if they can’t even treat me with the slightest bit of...

We grabbed some take out off a recommendation from a local business owner.

The pies were great. One basic pep and sausage and a Buffalo Chicken pizza, both extremely tasty. My wife got an Italian Beef sans the cheese because she's allergic, but it was delicious! If it had the cheese, I'd say it would be better than Portillos!

I had the Ding Mac and it was killer. The fries were great and the onion rings were on point!

The staff was very friendly while we were waiting and assisted with getting the dart machine up and running for us.

We'll be back in the future for sure!

We dined in this go around - July 2025. Another great experience! I think we ordered every appetizer - which were all awesome - especially the spicy pickle spears!

Excellent food at this picturesque country tavern right next to the Pine River. Gorgeous views from the bar and deck. Can walk in backyard and take in the beauty, hear the water rushing around the huge stones. Service is always excellent. Order at bar. Gets crazy busy on Friday nights. The food will be brought out by kitchen staff. Particularly recommend Ashley, great bartender. The food is very good. I particularly recommend the pizza burger. Pizza sausage formed into a burger patty.and topped with sautéed mushrooms, pepperoni, Mozzarella, accompanied by raw onion. With cup of red pizza sauce for dipping. Delicious! Highly recommend. While in area, strongly recommend visiting the “Springwater Saxeville Covered Bridge” just further west of here, turn right on 24th Lane. So serene and peaceful.
