Chrissy's Cravings — Restaurant in Town of Schaghticoke

Dining here this evening and waited over an hour for two burgers and some chicken tenders. Yes they were busy, no one checked on us in that amount of time so we decided to let the kids play on the playground while waiting. Immediately we noticed a support board to the pirate ship pulling away from the ramp with multiple screws exposed. This may be a maintenance oversight or something however it is a very bad safety hazard and I will not be able to let my children play there. The food finally did come after several tables that had been seated after us we're already done eating we were told that 25 orders came in at the same time and that was a delay. I'm not sure how other people seated after us in ordering after us would be fed first but okay. We have been regular patrons of this establishment since it opened and with Chrissy at her prior restaurant she worked at also in schaghticoke. I post this not because of the service but because of the safety issue. I can't in my right mind let it go knowing some child may get hurt and possibly need a tetanus shot do to the condition of the playground there was no one to tell about this as we had to go find someone to pay because our check wasn't even delivered. Please close your playground equipment until it can be maintained properly in order to avoid injuries I'm sure you wouldn't want your own children or grandchildren playing on this in the condition that is...

This is by far a hidden gem! After moving here from the SF Bay Area I have struggled to find a place to eat quality food in the area. Being gluten intolerant adds difficulty to my search; and frustration. I had driven by for months thinking it was going to be more “American Food” that I am unable to eat. When we decided to check it out, to my amazement, they have gluten free bread! Not only that.... it is Really Good and Chrissy herself had went over all of my gf options with me! This opened up a lot of the menu for me; which is surprisingly large for such a small place. To my delight the food is Amazing! The atmosphere and customer service is as well. My family absolutely loves this place. Serving the areas classics like mini dogs and fish fry’s; as well as many sandwich, wraps, burger, sides and ice cream! And to top it off, they are open during the winter as well! My fav is the reuben on gf bread! Thank you...

I appreciated the warm and polite greeting from my server when I entered the restaurant. I didn't review the menu and chose the daily special, a mushroom Swiss and bacon burger with a fresh, tasty bun. The burger came with an option of fries or Mac salad, and I opted for the Mac salad. I was expecting something akin to hot macaroni and cheese and it turned out to be a creamy, cold macaroni salad with tuna. Despite it not being what I anticipated, it was quite good. My server deserves a shoutout for efficiently managing the floor solo, apart from the kitchen staff. The restaurant itself is a very colorful and well-designed space that clearly appeals to children, as seen in the many photos of them on the walls.
