Li's Garden — Restaurant in Town of Schroeppel

Been going here for 20 years since I was a kid. Watched their kids grow up and now I have kids of my own. Very nice people and very consistent. Reasonably priced as well compared to fast food and what you get. I walked through the place awhile back when I stopped in and asked to use the bathroom because I was fishing all day. They don't have a public bathroom but let us through the back anyways to go to the bathroom and the kitchen was spotless. Anyone complaining about this place has issues. Good food. Clean place. Nice people. Always 10 minutes and they've never accepted credit card. To me that's a smart business move. Same reason as to why barbers don't take...

This place has been my favorite my whole life , I’ve recommended it to anybody going to another Chinese food place , anybody new to the area etc. always stood on it. NOW I’m not sure what happened with the original family or owners but who ever the new people are changed it up, the pork fried rice was flavorless, my combo was 85% rice set a few peices of chicken on top to make it look full of chicken, the breading was soggy , I’m so 😔 I wish they could’ve kept the same model, combos were always 50/50 the chicken always soaking in sauce but still crispy somehow, rice always flavorful. Stopped while visiting family. Hubby wanted hot and sour soup. She asked small or large. He wanted large. Paid for it. When she delivered it to the table is was less than 2/3 full. I asked if she would please fill it up as we paid for large. She said ,”NO/“. It was the worded soup he had ever eaten. I just pray he doesn’t get sick tonight for eating that. Dirty place.
