Pasquale's is a fairly newer name/restaurant in Wallkill after taking over for the long standing Rob's Pizza. They made some changes and now operates as Pasquale's. So it's kind of the same, with the same old phone number. I find the food to be as good as before and maybe even better. The pizza itself is normally quite good. Sometimes better than others, but normally decent or much better. They do make sizing a little confusing compared to most places. This is not bad, but different. It actually gives you more choices because they offer four sizes on their round pizza. The offer a small (Bambino), Medium, Large and Extra Large. Plus they do also offer Sicilian. So they do have good options for pizza, but can be a little confusing. We have found ourselves ordering a smaller pie than fit our needs, more than once. On the down side, I do find them to be on the expensive side.I realize most places are forced to raise prices in these times. But I find Pasquale's to be higher than most similar choices. I also do not care for their policy of charging you more if you do not pay cash. I could accept that a little better if we were talking $10-15. But when you're paying $25 for just a pizza, without the delivery charges, you may not always be carrying a lot of cash. To be fair to Pasquale's, they just want to pass on credit card charges to the customer. But it does add up when you pay high prices for their product to begin with, and then are forced to pay extra for not having enough cash on hand. So basically, Pasquale's is expensive when it's all said and done. Is Pasquale's worth the price it will cost you? Well that's for you to decided. Good food, but...
Read moreHighly variable quality. We are local and order takeout here several times a month. The pizza quality varies. On a good day, the pizza is fantastic. Other times the pizza is just ok. Stromboli are always excellent, so sometimes we just order those to avoid risking getting an ok pizza. The salads range from great to fair. Most times the greens are very fresh and dry, other times the salads are soggy and slimy. Lately, salads have been more consistently good. Sometimes the person answering the phone is courteous and responsive. Other times they respond in only one syllable words or incomprehensible grunts. Most times I get home to discover my order was filled correctly. Occasionally my order is incorrect, perhaps as a result of variable phone responsiveness/miscommunication. Wings are always great...really great! When ordering fresh, I expect fresh made food and I don’t mind waiting, but the sliders taste like they sat out for a loooong time. Dry, lack flavor, and unsatisfying. I imagine freshly made sliders are excellent. I like Pasquales and will continue to patronize...because Lillos in Walden is no longer an option. Keep up the good work...
Read moreI ordered the Tuscan Panini w/fries and the Eggplant Parm with a salad and let me tell you. The BEST ever panini I've ever tasted. The bread was so darn delicious, very tasty and it brought the flavors out in the panini! The fries were crispy outside and very tender inside. The taste was fabulous! The eggplant parm with fettucine oh goodness I haven't had that in years because no one can cook the eggplant the way I love it. It was the best ever eggplant parm I'm ever had. Cooked perfectly along with the fettucine. I don't know who does their cooking, but the best food ever and I will order from them again and again. The salad was crisp and green like its supposed to be. I'm so glad I tried this place. My hat is off to the chef! Thank you for a wonderful lunch...
