J & J's Sports Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Town of Sigel

We went there on a Friday night. Everywhere else was a 45 minute wait to eat so we headed there on our route towards home. There wasn't that many cars so we pulled in took a seat at the bar and ordered drinks. Amanda served us, we ordered food. Then the 2nd wave of people started piling in. We said, we hit it just at the right moment! She was all alone and had a lot of customers. Got everyone their drinks and then proceeded to go cook all the meals ordered. We ordered burgers, mainly because it said locally ground meat! It came out piping hot! And delicious! And the gentleman next to us got his meal right away also! We had some good conversations with the patrons there and they didn't want to scare us off, being it was our first time! They didn't scare us! Lol! We will be back for the recommended Pizza next! Unsatisfied. One night went to get burgers and fries. Mine and my boyfriend's burgers still ran bloody and raw. No apologies or anything, we still payed. Then the second time was at the dart tourney. The first drink I ordered was cherry doctor with mountain dew. She gave me orange instead. Ok, I didn't say anything. Lots of people so she had a lot going on and I didn't want to be rude. The second time I ordered, same thing. I asked for mountain dew but still she poured orange. This time I apologised and told her that wasn't what I ordered and then again asked for what I wanted. She turned and walked away after saying nothing, not even to pour a new drink. When she realized that I wasn't leaving the bar, she finally walked back and then when I once more asked for cherry doctor and mountain dew she looked like she was about to say something but I finally...

This place was great! We got to listen to the locals banter about political issues and all was good!! Our bartender was very attending to our needs, especially when we couldn't pay! They do not take cards and normally would not be a problem... well we forgot a wallet , only had a credit card where we unknowingly never server a pin number! Our bartender was very understanding aware to the fact we were mortified.... she handled our situation with ease and I do believe we are welcome back!!!
