Hard to find those hometown style Diners these days. Willow Glen is just that, a comfortable place to eat, and a staff that makes you feel right at home.
We were going for breakfast, but a late start made it a lunch stop. Have to say that the lunch menu had all the favorites, including club sandwiches, burgers and other grill specials. The server said the Reuben was always a good pick, have to agree it was thick, meaty and the cheese was perfect.
Breakfast selections were plentiful, and next visit we will try some of those. Prices were VERY reasonable, pretty easy to get a good breakfast for two for around $12. Coffee was flavorful, doesn't taste like it's been on a burner warming for hours.

The don’t have gluten free toast, which is fine, but this limits what I can eat because I have celiacs, like 15%+ of the population. The bacon sucks, which is rough because that is the best part about breakfast, no one likes bacon like this other than dogs. Incase you are curious, your home fries are actually called cottage fries. :)

I am a chef from South Florida and very picky, especially about my breakfast. I decided to give it a shot about a year or so ago. I have to say I was impressed . I have eaten at many great, expensive places. This quaint little place in the middle of no where is just perfect. It has become my go to place for breakfast.
