No matter what location or state you're in, any Culver's I've ever been to always has that same sparkling customer service when you walk in. Can't say that I've ever had anything to complain about whether dining in, carry-out or a drive-thru order; Culver's always delivers.
We visited this location last November after wandering around the Premium Outlets in Pleasant Prairie. The location near the mall was jam-packed so I mentioned let's take a quick ride up the interstate.
When it comes to fast food not just burgers but in general, Culver's reigns supreme and is the fastest growing franchise out there. I'll take a Culver's butterburger over a burger from McD's, BK, Wendy's, Hardee's, Jack in the Box or DQ any day of the week.
Other than the shining service, this location like any had clean tables/seats as well as the same consistent good quality for the food. I've read reviews from other locations that the burger was undercooked or the person had to wait 20 minutes for a take-out order when it wasn't busy.
Other than their scrumptious butterburgers, I've had the chicken sandwich, North Atlantic cod sandwich, Shaved Prime Rib sandwich which is sorely missed and the shrimp basket in which all are delicious and the food is well worth the price.
Despite living a few miles south of the border in IL, it's likely we'll return to this location being we do go to the Milwaukee area from time to time or stop in the nearby Mars Cheese Castle or if the Pleasant Prairie location gets packed again and we have that craving. I wish for continued boomin' business for...
Read moreI just bought the worst tasting spicy crispy chicken sandwich I have ever tasted in my life. There is nothing worse than biting raw chicken.
I have always considered Culver’s to be at a level above fast food restaurants because of its consistency to provide quality food, until now.
I guess I should have known from the start - when the person on the speaker was yelling to the point of hearing herself through the window. Then they tell me to wait for my order at the window instead of moving forward (common if they are going to take longer than normal, which they did).
Next, they hand me two bags in one hand - a big bag facing me and a smaller one facing them (which I could not see) and almost dropped it. I asked for ketchup but they could not find it. Finally, they scrounged for what seemed to be the last packets of ketchup from a drawer. Once I got home, I noticed that they had also given me less fries (ordered the chili cheese fries).
This subpar experience at what has been a favorite place to eat has left me thinking that maybe the employees were new, untrained, and/or short staffed. In any case, it was disappointing to say the least.
By the way, I called them to try to let them know that they were handing out raw chicken but no one answered.
I hope someone in upper management or corporate sees my review and this place gets some attention ASAP. Its current condition is staining...
Read moreToday,June 3rd, around 7pm, my husband and I went in during a very busy time in warm weather, to get 2 shakes. I didn't mind the wait. Our order was simple, 1 large chocolate shake, 1 large chocolate malt shake. After 10 minutes the gal brought my husband's shake, and asked me what mine was, and my husband relayed large chocolate malt to her. 5 minutes later the gal returned, with shake in hand, and apologized for the wait. We politely thanked her and left. On our way home, I realized I received a plain chocolate shake. I asked my husband to check it, and there was no malt in it. I called the restaurant to let them know the issue, and the young gal that answered the phone, after l explained to her what happened, said nothing, and hung up on me. I work in retail, and I know what rush hours are like, so we were not rude, but patient during the entire transaction. The young person who answered the phone could have placed me on hold, until a manager was available, or taken my number down to call back after the dinner rush. I hope I don't get hung up on again...
