My boyfriend and I were eagerly looking forward to our dinner at Rraci’s to celebrate my birthday as we had both been there before separately and enjoyed it.  It will be the last time we visit as the meal and service were not commensurate with the price of the bill.  We had a table outside for a 5pm reservation on Friday night and were the first table to be sat.  I don’t drink, so I ordered a club soda with lime while my boyfriend ordered gin and tonics which he found to be very weak.  Since this was a celebration, we decided to order the seafood tower for 2 at market price.  It included 1 lobster, 6 oysters and 4 shrimp cocktail.  It was fine, but nothing stellar.  We then split a Caesar salad, and I ordered the lobster and crab ravioli special, and he ordered the veal Sorrentino.  The filling in my pasta tasted as if it came out of a can, and the pasta was more of a deflated dumpling than a ravioli, but the sauce was good.  The green beans on my boyfriend’s plate were clearly frozen (this is coming from people who eat fresh, sauteed green beans on a weekly basis, so we know the difference).  The real insult aside from the overpriced, sub-par food was that our table service completely stopped. Even if we wanted to return the dishes, no one came by after they were dropped to check on everything.  A busboy came by nearly halfway into the meal to ask if I wanted parmesan and pepper for my pasta.  Not one water glass was filled, we weren’t asked if we’d like another beverage, and we certainly weren’t asked if we wanted dessert (which we initially intended to have, but I wouldn’t give them the satisfaction of adding any more money to the bill- we went to Carvel).  They literally stripped the table, and after about 15 minutes of waiting for someone to show us the dessert menu, we asked for the check and left.  Our waiter never showed up to our table again once the dinner plates came out.  As someone who ordered a second entrée to take home the last time I was there because the food was so good, I was highly disappointed in Rraci’s and won’t be returning.  I am including a copy of the receipt in hopes this review can make its way back to the smug waiter who couldn’t be bothered with us once he had other tables to tend to.  As a former server myself, this is simply unacceptable for the price of the meal we had.  We were expecting to pay more for a nice meal and great service, but that isn’t what we received and we feel ripped off. The next time we go out for dinner, we are taking our business to other local establishments where there is value in the food and service without the pretense.

Very disappointing experience last night. We were seated at 9:00 pm, by 9:20 we did not even have our menus yet. We finally were able to flag someone down for menus and we ordered drinks. One of our glasses of wine came in a dirty glass (lipstick around the rim). I understand these things do happen, since our server was MIA I approached the bar and asked for the bartender to swap out the glass to which he responded loudly, “Swap out the glass?!” I replied, yes there is lipstick on it, to which he replied, “Lipstick?!” I put the glass down and he asked me rudely if I wanted him to change over the wine as well, no apologies and at this point any professional staff member should just take initiative to change over the wine, I certainly should not have to. So the night continues, we are still waiting to order our food 40 minutes after being sat. We finally flag down a random staff member and place our order- a few apps and an entree to split. The server offered to split our dish onto 2 separate plates. Food finally comes out, delivered by our original server and the entree is on one single plate, when we ask if there is another plate coming out (since it was suppose to be split) the server replied, clearly annoyed, “well they must have forgot, do you want me to bring another plate?” At this point we clearly feel like an inconvenience so we say no thank you. The portion size for the price was extremely small. It looked like they served the mash potatoes with a teaspoon. Overall the entire experience was not a positive one and definitely not a fine dining experience.

Rraci is nothing short of perfection—a culinary haven that feels like a step back in time to an era when impeccable service and genuine warmth were the gold standard. This gem of a restaurant is my home away from home, where every visit feels like a celebration with family. Santos crafts the most epic espresso martinis, and Dominik’s signature Rraci’s ‘new fashion’ is a masterful twist on the classic old fashioned that will leave you wanting another. The incredible team—Enis, Mikey, Endrit, Hime, and Dion—welcomes you with genuine smiles, heartfelt hospitality, and just the right touch of humor that makes the evening soar by. The food? Simply divine. The shrimp cocktail will ruin all others for you—it’s that good. The beet salad, creamy carbonara, perfectly seared cast iron filet mignon, and indulgent chicken rollatini are just a few standouts, not to mention the daily fish specials that are as fresh as they are flawlessly prepared. Under Larry’s masterful culinary direction, the kitchen consistently delivers an unparalleled dining experience. Rraci’s ambiance is magical. The cozy, timeless interior is steeped in charm, while the newly added atrium room brings a sleek, modern elegance that’s perfect for private celebrations or special occasions. It’s the ideal blend of old-world warmth and contemporary sophistication. With its bustling atmosphere every night of the week, reservations are a must—and trust me, the wait is always worth it. Rraci isn’t just a restaurant; it’s an experience, a treasure, and a testament to the art of dining done right.

Absolutely horrible service!!! Poor Menu.. Cold atmophere. What happened to Rracis???? Its clear the new addition is something they cannot keep up with.

It has been a while since we last visited Rracis due to having children and such. We received a gift card from parents as they said it was good, so we were excited to give it a try.

We went on a Saturday and the first issue was the horrible parking situation. Cars everywhere and took about 10 minutes to find a spot. Good thing we got there early.

Then we went inside where there was a line of people waiting to be seated. Got our table, put off in the older room on the right. Not sure why since there were plenty of tables for two in the main dining room. New dining room has a weird ultra modern setting and far from the warm and cozy place of the past, super loud! We sat down and were not given menus. Bread came quickly but after about 15 minutes of nobody tending to us, we started to get annoyed. The waiter finally comes over, and gives us menus and a drink menu and then disappears. After more time, he comes back to take our order and we explain we havent even placed a drink order yet. My wife was concerned about the timing here and asks if we can place an order for our appetizers first. He gives us some very strange explanation of why that cant be done. We give our drink order, and again, waiting and waiting. close to 40 minutes in, we decide to leave as this is just a horrible experience. How many times waiters looked over at us to see we had our menus closed and were waiting with no drinks and no food, not a care in the world. We get up, we see the waiter coming with the drinks and we tell him we are leaving as the service is horrible. Of course, no apologies or anything, he just turns around and walks away.

As you can see from the reviews, this is a very common issue. But from what we saw, if you are a familiar face to the staff, they can be attentive. This was a big annoyance for us. A table of four came in about 10 minutes after us, and they had drinks and appetizers before we even got our menus! Most in our room didnt seem happy and I can figure why...

I can only assume that with the renovation to the dining room, it also went under new management. The new environment is cold and lifeless. What once was a cozy and warm environment is now loud and busy with waiters running around like chickens with their heads cut off. The menu is extremely limited and after coming home and looking online, the menu was even further reduced we realized. Four appetizers, bruschetta, meatballs, calamari and another one I forget. Very boring. Four pasta dishes, two raviolis that seemed very similar, and two others. Again, very boring and limited. Also, you can get them into an appetizer size for a whopping $18!. Then the entrees, four of them. Two chicken dishes, one veal dish and Osso Buco. Again, extremely limted. And then you have about 18 choices of steak lol. We happened to see one of the seafood towers. Honestly surprised people still do them as thats very lame this day in age. I can understand why they use dry ice or liquid nitrogen to create a fog for appearance. Its to hide the lack of actual seafood found on the tower. How about, instead of forcing people to buy an ugly tower of seafood, you have a raw bar offering? Most likely to force people to pay higher prices.

After that evening, I began reading the reviews for Rracis and can see many are having the same issues we had. And quite frankly from seeing the pictures of food, I am glad we didn't stay. Nothing seems plated well and everything is very uninviting.

I feel that Rracis is solely banking on their new dining room atmosphere to entice its customers but everything else is lacking.

Of course, after such poor service and a seemingly lack of care for its customers, we certainly wont be back. And thats coming from someone who had a $200 gift card to use lol. I am giving that back to my parents.

There are many excellent Italian restaurants within 10 minutes away, there is no reason to...

After driving by Rraci's many times and saying to my wife "we should try that place", we finally went for dinner last night. We won't be back. Although the place itself is lovely, despite four waiters standing around and occasionally glancing at us, the service was incredibly slow and frankly inept. It took almost 30 minutes from the time the waiter took our drink order until he finally brought the drinks, one of which was warm martini (ugh!) that only filled about half of the glass. Unfortunately, I was unable to get this corrected because he left the table the moment he set the glasses down and did not return for almost half and hour more. When he finally returned to take our order my wife very carefully explained that she wanted cold, uncooked shrimp on her salad and she wanted a side order of mixed steamed vegetables. When the food finally came, after a very long delay and after several people who had come in after us had been served, the salad had grilled shrimp on it and the side order was not delivered at all. When she sent the salad back to get the correct shrimp the waiter offered no apology and it took about 20 more minutes for them to take off the grilled shrimp and put on cold cocktail shrimp. When the repaired salad was delivered she had to remind them about the side order, which eventually arrived as a plate of steamed string beans, not a mix of vegetables as requested and promised, and again no apology or even an acknowledgement of an issue. The food itself was fine (I had pasta) but we sat for quite some time after we finished before they came to get our plates and ask about dessert. When the bill finally came the waiter seemed oblivious to the inadequacy of his service and offered no apology. In fact, at no point did he ask if our drinks were correct, the food was OK, or we needed or wanted anything else. This level of ineptitude is unacceptable given the very high prices this restaurant charges and given the fact that there were often as many as four waiters standing around looking at each other and avoiding eye contact with the patrons. We will not...
