This place was a huge disappointment on our wine tour. I I was really excited to try their wines but we didn't even make it that far.

We happened to visit on a wine trail even weekend. We expected that there would be a wait at some places to accommodate with the event, which we were completely okay with. When we walked in they asked us is we were a part of the event and we said no. They were super pleasant at the door and told us there should be some room at the bar to the left and we could do our tasting there. We walked over and saw that the bar was almost full. We talked and looked around for a few minutes and then decided to try and squeeze in and wait at the bar, or see if we could get in. As we went to walk to the bar the bartender spoke up quite loud and told us " you can wait until I'm done" We were kind of a bit shocked that he was so rude, the whole bar fell silent as he spoke to us. Then with an attitude he asked if we were with the bus, and we said no. He said well how many do you have and we told him 7. We made sure to make reservations as necessary, so for this guy to treat us like we were doing something wrong was very upsetting.

After that we walked to the other side of the winery to see if there was room at the other bar. We were so offended and kind of embarrassed he pretty much snapped at us in front of about 20 people. The other bar was full. A lady who worked there came over and was super pleasant and said that we could go to the bar to the left. We let her know we were just there and the guy was very rude to us. She apologized and offered to help us herself but we politely declined as it would have just been uncomfortable. We decided to leave.

This hiccup completely through off our day as we had our other visits lined up and now needed to choose another winery to visit before the next. Not that there isn't plenty to choose from but this ate up some of our time and we specifically choose our wineries based on their wines that we thought we please everyone is our group. And what do you know the random winery we picked happened to only have dry wines. Three people in our group only liked sweet so they decided to just sit it out, which wasn't fair to them.

I am not trying to rate the whole winery based on one guy, but as an employee he did represented the winery and he did a very...

Hmm. Many Finger Lakes tastings are similar but my last tasting at Fulkerson was very disappointing. My wife and I were addressed immediately by a young lady, presented the menu of offerings and told, ‘pick 5.’ No overview of the wineries approach to winemaking, it’s specialties or anything. Ok. I’m an experienced wine drinker I can figure it out. She hoovers up my $4 tasting fee and turns back around with a tiny wine glass for an even tinier pour. I’m not there to get drunk but if your pour doesn’t at least cover my tongue you’re being a bit too skimpy with your pour. Second wine on the list was an ‘orange wine’ which I was very intrigued to try, and it’s taste piqued my interest. But as fast as I set down my glass She had the next eye dropper filling it. 5 drops of wine down and I’m headed for the door. I think we spent 5 mins in the winery total?

I’m sure each tasting experience is different but this young lady did the winery a disservice. No engagement save a token “where you guy’s from?” as if it was listed on a card of ‘What to say to customers.’ Their wine might be good. Their ‘orange’ Riesling might be good, too. If I could...

This Vrbo offered the bare minimum. They posted that you could host Thanksgiving dinners there but they did not provide much, you received 1 roll of paper towels for the entire house, no foil or even propane for the stove and oven to work, it ran out our 2nd night while we were trying to cook dinner.A rusty refridgerator, and a ton of road noise. Alot of the furniture was worn and we saw mice in the kitchen. The upstairs bathroom door actually locked you in (my husband fixed that). The "brand new" coffee maker wouldent work for us and the few pots and pans have some wear and tear. I understand this is a house used to make money but I spent 900+ dollars for our group of 6 to stay there and it's been over a month and I still have not received the $150 dollar credit they think is more then enough to compensate for running out of propane , and all the other headaches. The vrbo chat says I can speak to an agent then cancels out and says everyone is busy. I would not stay here it is not worth...

About the only wines I drink are prosecco and moscato, but I still accompanies my lady's family to a wine tasting in the Finger Lakes of New York. I might have been better off getting a grape juice flight like my lady did. #travel #touristy #traveltok #winetasting #newyork #fingerlakes #wtf #weirdtok #degenerationx

I arrived at Fullerton Winery a half hour before closing time, trying to get one last stop in before rounding out my day of wine tasting. The host kindly told me they were no longer seating and then in the same breath said "You know what, nevermind, I'll get you a seat." He called to the stewardess and said "one more!" and she came over with a big smile on her face to talk us through the flight menu, not the least bit upset that she had to accommodate two more people before the end of her shift. Everyone was very patient and friendly. Oyster crackers were served as a palate cleanser with a 4 wine (typically five) wine flight. The tasting room was fairly large and outside was seating was offered on the wrap around porch outside. Overall, the staff and environment were wonderful. The only disappointment was the wine flight consisting of 4 samples, rather than 5.
