Gardner's Ice Cream and Coffee Shoppe — Restaurant in Town of Stephentown

We have stopped here a few times when driving on 22 and have always been happy with our food. They have a really good burger/onion rings/ fries/ ice cream flurry thing is good too. The staff is very good / friendly/ they gave us a little pup cup for our doggie today that was extra nice. The dogs are not allowed in the picnic area/ but you could let your dog out in the parking lot and walk around like I did and no one seemed to mind. They have a sit down inside restaurant I think / I haven't been in there so no idea what it's like. I just ordered from the walk up window. They have a mini golf course and driving range but I didn't see anyone using it. All in all this is a great place to stop in and grab an ice cream or a bite if you're in the area/ definitely check it out you won't be dissapointed/ the food is fresh and hits the spot/ thanks folks we will...

My family and I were driving down the road and seen this small country diner once we have the food now we make this a event that we always come back to they have such amazing food we have had Christmas get together for a whole family here we have had birthday parties here the food is so amazing the prices are very affordable for anyone homemade french fries you got to have their french fries they are from fresh potatoes they make them as you're there the beef is from fresh cows that are butchered the food is amazing I highly recommend it they have a golf course for people who love golf course with breathtaking views of the Berkshire mountains all around the staff is so friendly I highly recommend going here if you haven't yet the ice cream is amazing at the summertime very good fried dough is amazing also chicken...

Stopped at Gardner’s on our way home from Vermont and it was such a unique find! Paulie had the sausage & peppers and I had a cheeseburger, both were fresh and flavorful. We shared fries that were crispy, hand cut, and easily some of the best I’ve had. We washed it all down with a Coke and Diet Coke while sitting outside, enjoying the laid-back atmosphere.

What makes this place special is the combination, you can grab a hearty meal, enjoy rich homemade ice cream, and even play a round of mini-golf or hit the driving range. It’s not your average roadside stop, it’s an experience. The menu is way more unique than you’d expect, and everything feels homemade and done with care.
