Ok place, drinks are a little pricey. Few rude customers but they can’t control that. Waitress’ and female bartenders were very friendly. Only main issue was we were on a memorial ride and came in with close to 30 people. We spent a good amount of money, and had a decent time beside the few customers that were trashy. Only real problem was when we went to leave. Started or bikes up and couple guys burped the throttle. Definitely nothing crazy or out of control. I get that noise isn’t for everyone so when the owner? Or manager? (Not sure who he was) came out running at us, if he would’ve just asked respectfully to keep it down we all would’ve respected that no issues at all. However he did not do that, he came charging us like a pit bull and screaming, yelling and chewing us all out like we were children and just flushed the remote down the toilet... it’s Memorial Day weekend, a “biker” bar, and had a band playing really loud. So not sure what the big deal was. Although I do see the problem with loud bikes and Neighbors, only problem was how it was handled by him with paying customers. This place will definitely not be on our list of stops for any...
Read moreI have every mixed feelings about this place. The setting is absolutely perfect in the summer, overlooking a serene part of Lake Koskonong. The backyard literally being on the beach—complete with an outdoor stage that hosts live music, recycled pontoon boats that hold tables capable of being used for one large party or multiple small ones, an a dry bar— so is an excellent feature that drives constant temptation to visit this place for dinner. The catch, however, is that I've never had a satisfying meal there. Some of their appetizers are okay, at least what you'd expect from fried bar food, but their entries—including their fried fish, which is typically difficult to mess up—are always underwhelming. With that said, I imagine this would be a fun place to get a drink, it sounds like they get pretty rowdy and host a lot of special events—it's just not the kind of crowd I'd normally drink with (older, country). Overall, a nice place to visit once, but probably doesn't need...
Read moreDisorganized service & unwelcoming bar staff. Because we were all on separate checks at the same table some of us were finished eating by the time the rest of the food came out. Two of us received wrong orders. When this was explained to the Manager, he made excuses & never corrected our orders. He said something to the waitress who had already been working 12 hours & she started crying. When we went to the bar to pay they told us to find a seat after letting us stand their for over 5 min. The bar inside wasn't even full. When I explained i wanted to pay our bill she said we could take a seat or pay outside. We went outside to have a drink & enjoy the lake view & evening but it was utter chaos with the service there too. There was plenty of staff every where you looked but not anyone greeting or directing the customers. Completely disorganized service with a manager who clearly isn't a leader. This party of new patrons won't be coming back...
