Manitou Inn Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Town of Superior

Took a ride out on the motorcycles specially to eat breakfast at this place. Three of our party had breakfast dishes and all three had positive things to say about their meals (1. biscuits & gravy, 2. everything omelet and 3. July special -hash browns stacked with 2-3 meats, eggs, hollandaise sauce & served with toast).

They serve their menu during breakfast hours so if you’re like me and don’t care for breakfast foods much, this is your place.

I had the Chicken Philly, the ingredients had great flavor and the ciabatta roll was soft and fresh. (Forgot a photo but it was REALLY good).

Everything you'd expect from a roadside WI tavern, solid beer selection, root beer on tap, and a wider variety of menu than most. Breakfast served until 8p.m! French dip was real roast beef, not pressed meat. Taco salad was large and tasty shell. Not a lot of bars/grills south of Superior down to Danbury so fuel up here. Friendly couple running the place and of the 3 booths, one is occupied by masked skeletons for covid distancing. we chose patio seating and we're glad we pulled into this classic Up North bar and grill. We have a family member who used to frequent this place, but is now confined to a wheelchair completely. I called the day before and was assured it was wheelchair friendly, so we arrived the next day and did the difficult transfer in the parking lot. I ran in there and saw they only had bar stools high tops and a few tight booths that wouldn't have worked even if they weren't occupied. I mentioned this to the female employee that I had called on this and she just shrugs that you can get them in the door.
