Metro's — Restaurant in Town of Tioga

My family has been going there for years, and they seem to enjoy it lately more than ever. The food is delicious, the waitresses are real nice, and it is a nice cozy restaurant in which to eat. The very friendly owner and cook prepare homemade and delicious food, and I sampled the apple crisp which is absolutely delicious. It reminds me so much of my grandmother's and my mother's homemade apple crisp recipe as it melts in my mouth. The homemade chicken and biscuits are fantastic served with mashed potatoes and gravy plus 'out of this world vegetables' with the little round onions which one does not see that often. When someone asks me where I would like to eat, I say that I would enjoy going to Metro's Restaurant...

The waitress was pleasant, by the experience certainly wasn’t. They didn’t the food my mother in law requested that was in the menu... chose again. Same story... chose yet again, same story... They also didn’t have any Irish cream behind their bar. She then goes to order dessert— makes sure they have it this time— and then the waitress comes back and apologizes over and over, stating they didn’t have that... The rest of us just stuck with the safe options of chicken strips... Also, their macaroni and cheese is really good, but I was served it in bowl smaller than a ramekin— and it was ordered as an entrée. I’m willing to give it another try—...

First time trying Metros after seeing such good reviews on Facebook. It's cash only, my fault, I missed that on your website. Please update your menu pricing on your website, my bill was quite a bit higher than expected, I'll take that, I should have asked. The pizza?? Eh, maybe we got you on a bad night?? Definitely did not look like the photo on your website. When folded, the crust just cracked, reminded me of an overcooked frozen pizza. The wings were ok, could use a few less feathers 😬 kids don't find...
