Overall wonderful experience here. We were able to make a pretty last minute reservation for 8 people and the service was amazing. They had a live singer outside that was a tad bit too loud so when they cleared off a table for us outside, they were so accommodating to move us inside since we had some hard of hearing folks. Our waitress Crystal was so funny and very good at her job. She was able to deal with 8 of us talking over each other and confusing her with a smile on her face! The food came out WAY quicker than expected and was all very good flavors. The only reason for the 4 and not 5 stars is because some of the food items were definitely pre-frozen and the wine and drinks in general were definitely watered down. I’m not sure how you water down wine if it’s coming straight from the bottle but they were all not normal tasting. The docking set up is also EXTREMELY treacherous. I would love to know what type of insurance policy there is for injuries on that thing because it is an absolute liability. We had a bit of a difficult time getting some of our family members safely on and off the boat and even walking up to the shore. Be mindful if you have any people who have issues like this!! (maybe drive instead of boat there). Overall good food, good ambiance and fantastic service! Will definitely be back!!!

⭐️⭐️⭐️½ (5 stars for the view) Snug Harbor is worth a visit for the setting alone—the view of the lake is stunning and makes for a perfect backdrop to a casual meal or drink. The space itself is relaxed and comfortable, fitting for lake life, and the service was fantastic: warm, friendly, and attentive throughout. As for the food, it was a mixed experience. We started with the charcuterie board, which arrived in a paper box and unfortunately felt more like a store-bought lunch kit than a curated appetizer—cold, bland cheeses and meats without much appeal. The salmon entrée, however, was excellent. Perfectly cooked and well-seasoned, it was served with zucchini, asparagus, and a generous portion of pan-fried garlic potato chunks—a dish I would happily order again. Dessert, a brownie sundae, was just okay. It could have been great if the brownie had been warmed to balance the cold ice cream. The biggest miss of the night was the Old Fashioned, which tasted nothing like the classic cocktail and would benefit from a name change. Overall, Snug Harbor shines in atmosphere, service, and its lakeside views. The food is hit or miss, but with a meal like the salmon and the unbeatable setting, it’s still a nice spot to spend an evening.

The food was delicious! I had their burger, with added bacon (highly recommended). It was cooked to perfection and served on a soft, but not too soft, roll. The other three people in my party enjoyed their choices just as much. The server, Jason, did a great job and was very personable. We were on the front, covered deck area where everyone has an unobstructed view of Keuka Lake. There is, of course, indoor dining and you also have the choice to eat and drink on a boardwalk right next to the lake. Drive there by car or boat and I'm sure you'll be happy you made the trip. * I wanted to add a couple concerns, so you don't think I work for them: Limited menu; Patrons would benefit from additional wait-staff as I felt rushed when I spoke to Jason because he was so busy; High-end pricing might limit Snug Harbor's patrons and there is no problem with that as the food quality matches the prices! However, a high-end restaurant destination needs to have enough staff to match the needs of the patrons. With all that said, I'm looking forward to my return to Snug Harbor!!

I honestly haven't been here since June of 2014 due to a horrible experience here. I had my rehearsal dinner here for my wedding. We spent hours waiting for our food and asked the waitress if the chef could hurry it up because we had a bachelor party to go to. He came out yelling about at us saying he had a schedule which he never sent to us. It was a mess so I said I would never come back here. Then I heard recently they have whole new chef and crew here so I thought I would come back.

The place Anytime you have a place on Keuka you are going to have great views. They had a covered deck, a non covered deck ( who is in really rough shape), tables down right next to the water, and of course inside the restaurant. We set under the covered deck which is was really nice. It was decent size since we had a party of 14! The only minus was they need to light some candles or torches to keep away the bugs. They started to get bad later into our meal. All in all the place is pretty nice.

The food I was so impressed I ordered a salad with goat Cheese, Roasted beets, crumbled chevre, toasted pecans, field greens, champagne vinaigrette. Everything was so fresh and tasted great. I loved how light the dressing was yet had great flavor I really wanted to lick the plate but refrained. I went with the burger of the day which had the chef's special bbq rum sauce. Most placed a burger is burger not here this thing was amazing!!! Everything on the burger tasted great but the sauce was key. I used the sauce on my fries that came with it because it was so good! My only complaint was very few fries came with it. My sister had the veggie burger which had white beans, roasted red peppers, herbs with citrus aioli, fried jalapenos, smoked cheddar. Said and a few others who tried it loved it. The only meal 2 people didnt really care for was the fried chicken they said it was dry but I didnt try it.

The staff Our waiter was great I dont remember his name but he was very kind and attentive. He left us some pitchers of water which was a big help so we didn't have to wait. He even helped big time with my sister because her daughter is allergenic to almost everything! He made a few trips to talk with the chef to accommodate her.

The verdict I was impressed after having one of the worst experiences here I have ever had at a place I was leary of coming back. It was worth it. I cant wait to come back and try things. I will say to warn people the place is a little pricey but my food was good My burger and fries was 16 bucks. Kudas to the new crew here I...

Driving on the road, you can almost miss Snug Harbor restaurant. To access the place, you descend a narrow driveway which leads into a parking lot level to the lake. The restaurant itself is "snug" like its namesake, but not small or cramped. The interior has exposed stone with lots of warm earth tones.

I sat at the bar and enjoyed a drink. The evening was busy, but not manic and since I was on my own, I decided to have my dinner at the bar. I started off with a cup of creamy Lobster Bisque that was thick with shreds of tender lobster meat.

My entree was The Stripper, a cut of perfectly charred crust of center cut Angus strip topped with bubbling gorgonzola cheese and black pepper. I wanted it prepared medium, but it was served medium rare. Not a huge deal as it was still delicious even though the cut had noticeable chunks of fat and gristle. Buttery blocks of potatoes and carrots rounded out the meal.

My bartender was my waiter and she was really great. I tend to like reading a book with my meal and she took my cue, leaving me alone, but keeping my glass filled and making sure I was comfortable.

The bill was pricey for one person, but you get what you pay for. If you happen to be on Keuka Lake, this place definitely has solid food to complement the...
