Concerns about the dining experience were sent to the restaurant's email — management never responded.
Two weeks ago, myself and three friend had one of the poorest dining experiences, especially at established venues.
We made a reservation for 7:15pm. There were three other parties in the restaurant. We waited 20 minutes to be greeted by our server and given a glass of water.
We were at the restaurant for over two hours - it took almost an hour and a half to get our dinner. It seemed like there was a staff shortage, so we understood a slightly longer wait time.
Our server only came by our table twice: to get our food order, and to ask if we wanted dessert. The food and bill was dropped off by the hostess, and no one came during our entire meal to ask how the food was, if we needed any drinks any water refills, or if there was anything to make or experience more comfortable.
With all due respect to the head chef, unfortunately the chicken meal did not taste well to the three of us. It was nearly $30 for greasy lemon chicken with overdone, mushy risotto.
The other tables were waiting just as long as us. The server kept apologizing, giving free bread and french fries, and made conversational points to ease the wait time.
While I do understand that a party of four and $175 bill might not be on the higher end for the restaurant, why was our group treated lesser than? For example: We would have gotten more cocktails and wine, but no one came around to ask.
At the end of the dining experience, the hostess dropped the bill and said, “here this is yours.” There was no good night, no thank you, etc.
We did not feel welcomed or important...
Read moreFirst off, the service was great. Unfortunately, both of our main courses fell short of the price listed on the menu. The salmon looked like it was not very fresh, as if it was sitting out for a bit before plating. The chicken was a little overcooked and tough. Both dishes came with the exact same sides, which were entirely average. The hummus was very good though!
It was not terrible food by any means, and we would have happily paid $16-20 for these dishes and left satisfied. Menu prices listed these at $24 and $28.
To compound all of this, we were charged $6-8 more for each of these plates erroneously, for a total of $18 extra. Luckily we caught this before we left, but after we had paid the bill. The staff was extremely apologetic, which we appreciated, but did not have the correct privileges to right this is their system.
All of this led to an overall disappointing meal, which shined a light on the arbitrary pricing of the menu items. This left us feeling swindled, despite the efforts taken to resolve the issue ($20 cash).
Premium pricing on mediocre food, with (intentional or not), hidden price increases that is up to you...
Read moreMy husband and I picked this place for our 14 year anniversary dinner. We got complimentary bread and oil. The bread is very different from the traditional bread you receive..it wasn't good but it wasn't bad, but I appreciate that it was homemade. I got the mushroom soup, the flavor was there but the consistency was more of a puree, not soup. We both got the chicken meal for an entree. The chicken breast was extremely tough. I ate one bite and had to chew it for about 2 minutes. The mashed potatoes were decent. I got a side of asparagus that was the best part of the meal. My husband got their Mac n cheese-the bacon jam on top tasted like earwax. We are both 'clean the plate' kind of people, my husband only ate about half of his and I only ate about 20% of mine. Overall, subpar food for the price. We saw a gentleman at another table near us have the same plate and barely touched it, we heard the lady he was with say he could eat a 16oz ribeye with no problem and couldn't believe he didn't eat his meal. We are by far from picky eaters, I never leave a bad food review, but this was really a...
