Tastie Cream Inc — Restaurant in Town of Vestal

Tastie Cream has good ice cream and usually no line. I can only speak to the chocolate soft serve and it is quite delicious. The flavor is not too strong or to weak and the ice cream itself is heavy and creamy when compared to other locations where the ice cream is more course and lighter. They also fill the cone which is a plus unlike some places that serve the cone empty with the ice cream on top. I always order a small and my son orders a medium. The cones do end up being noticeably different in size. I cannot say that for the place a few miles west down the road where a medium and small are often the same. My only issue is this place is about $2 more expensive per cone than other locations nearby. I suppose it balances out though when you factor in the heavier and better quality ice cream than the other places...

Soft serve was very creamy! There custard ice cream was to die for. I seriously would consider never going anywhere else to get ice cream when in this area. Maybe even skip dinner to eat it. Smoothest creamiest I’ve ever had, and I didn’t even get anything special. They pack your ice cream in a cup. I got a medium it was very heavy. She packed about 4 scoops in there. Maple walnut was delicious as was black raspberry. Tried chocolate and vanilla also very good. You can buy it in large containers and bring some home also. Tasty cream ice cream is the best in town. They offer alot of flavors of ice cream and custards. You can get a cone of ice cream, waffle bowl, pints ect. They usually have no line so getting in and out is a breeze. They do have limited seating inside for you to enjoy.
