Bella Lena's — Restaurant in Town of Wallkill

Stopped in last week. Staff was friendly and got prompt service . Place was very clean and the pizza was very good. Noticed they gave a very generous military discounts , showed our military ID card ( the one that says property of the US government). Pizza worker even offered to take my two pies to the car(we are seniors). Last night stopped again with my son and grandson.We tried their speciality pies and again very good. Got to talking with owners then realized we knew the same people. In fact , we live on the street of the owners grandparents and I worked at ORMC With immediate family members of theirs. Small world. I don't know how this place gets a 4.9 rating! I'm not arguing that the staff aren't nice or not. That's not what I'm concerned about. The slices are huge, but they suck. I'd rather have a slice half the size, that's phenomenal. I guess no one knows what good NYC pizza is like. I guess it's a good thing, because everyone would be ruined. I've been in orange county for 15 years, tried probably 100 pizza places and not one is decent. ...

I was craving some real pizza. Not the chain stuff like Dominos or Pizza Hut. I've tried all the others and I drove past Bella Lenas and stopped in. i had guests at home so I ordered the XL pie, half buffalo half cheese pizza. the pizza was slamming. Not drowning in sauce and just the right amount of everything. Everyone loved it. And it's a family business. Big plus in my book. The owners...
