12 out of 10 do NOT recommend. Unless you need a drink 🍷 and have to eat something regardless of what it is. Definitely have nothing Mexican about it unless you go there for the decor and you live under a rock. We had a waiter that had hickeys all over his neck with the attitude of a teenager. Not something I want to look at while I'm being served my food. They tried to put their own spin on the cocktails but why mess with the classics? Could have made their own cocktails and called it whatever. Got our food and and while eating the waiter came back to ask us if we wanted our food to go. What? Can you see I'm still working on it? Mean while you have 3 other tables. The rice looked like it came from a box. The pico de gallo was old. Guacamole had no salt, no lime no hint of spice. There was an attempt to season the chicken fajita, so there's that. 2 enchiladas in a order, normally there's 3 anywhere else. ok but for an almost $100 lunch not worth it. Did I mention one scoop of beans that came out of a blender??? Well if that's your idea of Mexican food you might need to try other Mexican places and get a...
Read moreFood was fine. Nothing to run home about. But be warned: we ASKED if certain drinks are free refills and their waitor said yes. Once we got the bill this was not true. There was a small party of us, so a total of 15 drinks were charged. To make matters worse their cups aren't even the same size, so you could be spending 3 each on drinks but the volume of juice/soda you get changes based on how they feel. It's a huge rip off and a waste of time when you think of the location and how put of the way it is. To make matters worse, we complained to the manager and they insisted on not deducting more that 5 drinks off the bill and kept the "mandatory" 18% gratuity. Which we felt was unfair due to our bill error existing purely because of a waitor's error. We will NEVER go back. Their food wasn't nearly good enough to subject ourselves to...
Read moreI myself am not a food critic, but when I go out to eat i want the good stuff. My family and myself included were not at all pleased with our dishes, I personally would not recommend the Enchiladas Con Mole Ploblano because the tortilla was soggy and the instead of the chicken being shredded it was in big chunks. Although the service was great and our server was very polite. With that I disagree with the many who say it is the "best Mexican restaurant in Bloomingburg/Middletown area", there is one that is one hundred percent better with quality food at a great price, and the same polite servers known as El Azteca. I recommend that restaurant for sure. Those who are eating here arent getting the full "authentic" deal, they're on the other hand getting anything but authentic Mexican...
