Long Fu — Restaurant in Town of Wallkill

I’ve been coming to Long Fu for many many years and I usually get the same orders and each order is roughly between $80-$90 so a few weeks ago I ordered my usual stuff and one of the things that we get is chicken with cashews but my wife doesn’t like Chinese vegetables. I don’t ask for extra chicken. I just say please don’t put the vegetables in. She knows me by now so when I got home in Pennsylvania now we moved my wife opened it up and she says what’s this I said it’s chicken and cashew. It’s all Chinese vegetables so anyway threw it out so I came here tonight and made an order and her daughter was at the counter and I mentioned to her know what it happened And no acknowledgment of the mistake. No sorry this happened. It’s as if I didn’t even like talk with her, so this is not the first time that that’s kind of happened. I still will go to them because the food is very very good. I think it’s the best in all of Middletown, but they need to kind of own up to you know customer service their mistakes or if you’re gonna have your daughter’s working, they need to be trained to be more customer,...

One star only because of the customer service. The girls who take the orders are nice and respectful. I’ve never had to deal with being overcharged or not getting the right amount of money back, BUT this is my third time getting an absolutely disgusting meal. They used to have the best food in middletown but that has drastically changed. The fried chicken wings are not fully cooked inside, but the outside is super crunchy (it’s like they double coat/dip the outside, weird nasty texture). I quite literally threw up the food and couldn’t finish the rest. The food is dry, unflavored and not cooked thoroughly. They DO have fresh vegetables so that is a good thing? It seems like the must’ve changed their recipes or have someone new cooking. I also liked ordering from them (before) because they have a few meals that other chinese restaurants in middletown don’t offer. Again, I do appreciate the service but being that this is ONLY takeout and I see/speak for 5 minutes; It doesn’t hold much value. I really hope they get better, but that is my LAST time...

I will never every eat here again. They run the place like it’s their house. Kids running around everywhere. I should have written this years ago but instead I tried to put them behind me. The one time I ordered from them I asked for extra gravy for my egg foo young order and the lady told the cook and I could tell he had a problem with the request. Still I let it go. Noticed the cook digging into the fridge for a minute then pulling out a bucket. Didn’t think anything of it till after I got home to eat. The poison they gave me tasted rancid and unlike any egg foo young gravy I have ever received. I was sick, poised and horrified. I’m just glad I didn’t die. I just don’t understand how they stay open. To be blunt, there are plenty of other so so to bad Chinese food joints I would eat b4 revisiting this subpar hole in the wall people killers.
