Have ordered from here numerous times. Food is very good and of value, except the time before my order today. My seasame chicken had two pieces of tendon breaded and fried in it. It was a Sunday so I took a picture of it was going to report it the next day but they are closed on Monday.So I decided to tell them the next time I ordered which was today. I told them to please make sure it did not happen again today and they had all kinds of excuses for it. No big deal, I wasnt looking for anything. When I went to pick up my order I showed them the pictures and all they could say is thats not our sesame chicken, our chicken doesnt look like that. My response was do you think I lying? This place was a huge surprise to discover in Slate Hill! I had no idea it was even here until one day desperately searching for somewhere with some decent Chinese or Japanese food in the area after growing disappointment with some old "favorites" in the Sussex area, and Middletown. While it might look dodgy from the outside and there's no indoor service (just a pick up window), the food is legit good. Generous amounts of meat in the Chinese dishes (especially like the pork with black bean sauce), well cooked (vegetables still with some "bite" and shrimp tender, not overcooked and rubbery). Only tried one or two sushi rolls so far and they were fine if not exceptional, too. Can get a lot of food for the price, and I like their online ordering system as well. Hong Fu has now become a regular stop for me when visiting family...

Hong Fu has authentic Chinese food at very reasonable prices. When calling to place the order, i was a bit worried when speaking to the order-taker who obviously didn't have a Chinese accent. Don't worry!!! The chef in the kitchen is 100% certified from mainland China and he personally greeted us when picking up the food and made sure we received everything we wished. Portions are very large and you will either be as full as Thanksgiving or will be eating leftovers the next...
