Golfside — Restaurant in Town of Wescott

The Golfside Bar is not a good place to watch a Packer game. We tried to order appetizers and pizza but was told that the kitchen was not open because of the food that was spread out in the back room. At the half, a few people from my party tried to help themselves to some of the food that everyone was enjoying but was denied by the owner of the bar. Apparently, the food was for every besides us.

We decided to finish our drinks and head to the next place so we could get some food. As we were leaving, the owner approached us and said that it was now okay for us to eat some of the food. At that point we had already made up our mind to leave. She did not like that and had some choice words for us as we left.

This was my second time at Golfside and I won't be going back. I have not been treated so poorly in a very long time. You might get better service if you are a regular. The place the full of Yokals who don't welcome new comers. They also had no problem showing up late and blocking your view of the TV.

Its very surprising that Golfside would treat people like this considering there are so many options in that area. Golfside is right in the middle of 2 other bar and grills. If you want cheaper drinks go to your left. If you want better food go to your right. If you want better service go...

This place has bad service The bar owner was more worried about playing music for someone sitting on a bar stool than waiting on me and the 6 people that were with me we walked out and went next door to Coach light and stayed there for 3 hours and had a great time and got a drink every time we needed one I have never been back to this place and never will too many choices on that side...

The bartender engaged with the locals, she didn't pay much attention to the others. I wouldn't choose to go there again, but the bar next door had no available seating on this rainy day. Maybe your experience will be...
