Garfalo's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Town of Wheatfield

Ordered a large pie just cheese and FRESH minced garlic on TOP of the cheese (so it cooks)... It's the way I grew up having good New York Style pizza and something in the 20yrs I have lived here in WNY I have not found or been able to get a pizza shop to replicate. UNTIL NOW..... Garfalos (Joe) have the BEST pizza. They made it just the way I asked and it tasted like my childhood if not BETTER. The crust was top notch, sauce was dead on and seasoned 👌and the fresh garlic was just right and cooked to perfection! Now, let me tell you not only was the pizza THE BEST but the service from the minute I called to order was top tier. A very patient, sweet young girl (maybe owners daughter?) White pizza is equivalent to a bread stick, not a traditional white pizza with onion and tomatoes- crust, cheese, garlic powder and oil. Will try a traditional pizza next time, just a warning for anyone looking for a traditional white, this isn't.

As I can't reply and my post seems to have been removed, as my description above states, this isn't a White Pizza that commonly has tomatoes, onions and fresh garlic, the "White Pizza" is essentially just their crust, oil, garlic powder and cheese- as a Pizza. Most of the other local pizzerias, even the chains would consider this their breadstick(s). Definitely a disappointment. Pizza was grossly over cooked to the point that the crust was like a cracker and the cheese was all dried out. The entire pizza was almost devoid of moisture. Having worked at a pizzeria in my younger days I can honestly say that we would never have left a pizza like this leave the store unless the customer specifically asked for it to be extra well done. I should have taken pictures to post but we ended up tossing the majority of it in the trash and wrote the $23 off as a bad investment. There are too many great options out there and hopefully the owners will use a bit off common sense quality control in the future before an order goes...
