Yubb's Restaurant — Restaurant in Town of Wheatfield

First visit after my grandson's pre-school graduation. All of the family decided to go for a quick lunch. Yubb's was recommended. We went in and we were told in less than friendly manner "I can't take you, over 8 people..you have to call." She walked away into the back. We decided we could sit separate and have separate checks, thinking that was the issue. She came out of the back and we told her we would sit separately and she said, no I can't take you sorry. Still no real explanation. We said ok, well that's not good business. I guess we won't be back. She said sorry, without a reservation I didn't staff up. We left and decided to head to another restaurant. We let the family members know where we were going and got in our vehicles and proceeded to pull out of the parking lot. The lady who would not serve us came out and said, I have security cameras and have all your license plates. Talk about adding insult to injury! I’ve been driving by Yubbs for years. I always saw the sign out for a cheap pizza and wing combo. I never had the courage to stop until 11/11. I ordered a large cheese pepperoni pizza. I Called placed an order for pickup upon pickup I was told the price was $10. I said excuse me. Yes $10. When I got home to review the pizza for our podcast ZaBills podcast and opened the box for the first moment. I was BLOWN away at how awesome this pizza looked for $10. Like holy sh$t. We did a comparison to Papa Leo’s this week. Yubbs pizza was cooked perfectly. Great crust. Great belly under carriage. Great cup n char. Loved the cheese. The sauce was unique. I disnt hate it. I didn’t love it. There’s a unique flavor in the sauce that I can’t figure out if it’s onion or garlic. It’s different. It’s not sweet closer to a traditional sauce but not quite. We had lunch with friends here yesterday and was very happy with the food and service here. There is a full service bar in the front of the building and a casual dining restaurant located in the middle of the building with easy access from the side parking area. The complimentary soup and garlic toast was a nice treat to start. The portions are very generous and the prices are exceptionally reasonable. Our server was Amy and she was awesome, always bringing drink refills without us asking. The wait time for our food was not long at all, and everything arrived piping hot. I will be back for sure and will be recommending Yubbs to all...
