Friday evening so not shocked to wait 45 minutes for pickingvuo. The place was packed, but hard to believe the prices a bit high for aweful pizza. We purchased what we thought was mojos....little potato wedges. It has been our experience at other Italian restaurants potatoes with breading or skin deeper fries, and usually larger than a small red potato cut 4. The appetizer combi $16 for what? 3 toasted ravioli, 3 moz sticks, 3 mushroom, 3 cauliflower, 3 thin chicken stops, 1 large onion ring and 2 very tiny onion ring and some sauce... I will say this, not greasy like other laces. Now the 18 inch pizza okay on toppings but had no flavor, and the ground beef....I think not pure ground beef but tasted more like bread crumbs mixed in. All four of us agreed....not worth the trip or $. However it seems that others do not agree being so packed, and all the positive reviews.

Recently tried Luisa’s Pizza for dinner, and overall had a good experience. We were seated right away, and our waitress was friendly & attentive throughout the meal. We started with the garlic knots—there was a generous portion for the price, and they were pretty tasty. My mom and I both had the stuffed manicotti, which came with two meatballs, a salad, and a piece of garlic toast. The garlic toast was actually better than the knots —perfect amount of crispiness and flavor! The manicotti and meatballs were good, though the meat filling was a bit on the dry side. My dad ordered the sausage and cheese pizza and enjoyed it. The food and service were solid overall!

Food is fantastic!

I have found it to be hit or miss as far as service goes. Some times it's been good and other times horrible. One time in particular, I think there were 6 or 7 of us. It wasn't busy when we got there but it did fill up. We ordered some appetizer and then our food. Appetizers came out timely. We waited an hour and half for food. At one point during the wait, we needed fresh drinks. I told the waitress as she went by and she said she'd be right back. 15 minutes later, I went up to the bar and got the drinks and paid cash. She never did come back to the table for the drinks. She eventually came back with our food.

When she brought the bill, I showed the cash receipt for the drinks I bought and told her she needed to deduct it from the bill. I explained after waiting 15 minutes for her to come back to get fresh drinks, I got up and went to the bar myself. I then said, if I have to get up and get my own drinks, then as far as I'm concerned, they are free. She took the bill, said ok and that she would be right back. When she came back she tried to explain to me that the drinks I bought at the bar were not on the bill. DUH! I again explained the thing again. Then I told her she should talk to her boss and he wasn't willing to give us a round free drinks, then it would coming out of her tip

She came back about 10 minutes later with a new bill for the same amount as the original bill. I paid the amount of the bill and left no tip on a $100 tab.

One other thing about paying cash and getting the discount. Look at your receipt closely. They add a 20% gratuity to your food total, then take the 30% off that amount. Essentially you are getting 10% off not 30%. If you call them on it, they will fix your receipt and you'll get the 30% discount. Most people don't catch it and then leave a tip on top of the bill meaning they are probably paying more for their food then if they didn't get a...

I've been eating pizza here for about 10 years and it is just delicious. Being from Chicago I am a tough critic when it comes to pizza and this is the best around WI. In fact, they have won best pizza in Westosha since 2011. There awards are displayed in the bar area. They keep winning then there gonna need a trophy case.

The owner, Paul is a great guy and he cares about keeping every customer happy. When they wrote the book on customer service, Paul was the model for it. Everyone knows him. He is kind of like Norm from Cheers, except he works a lot harder then Norm.

So if you're looking for a great thin pizza, then this the place. They run deals during the week like half price pizza on Tues and Wed with cash payment. There's also a discount on Thursday, if you pay in cash. Just give them a call and they will fill you in on all the info. They also have daily specials too. I highly recommend reservations on the weekend because they fill up fast.

I almost forgot they make the best soup too. They recently won a soup contest among the local businesses at the Brat Stop (2013). It was also the first year they ever entered. Congrats!

So dine in, pick it up or get it delivered, there should be no excuses your missing out on this...

I don't even know where to begin with Luisa's. My fiancé and I had visited to taste their food in hopes to have them cater for our wedding dinner. We happened to visit on our dating anniversary and had contact with Guy to do so. Guy was unfortunately unable to meet with us, so we were greeted by Jen DeLuisa. She was such a pleasure to meet. She sat us down as quickly as possible as the restaurant was busier (this was a good sign!). She offered us a tasting of the chosen foods we'd ideally like at our wedding. We first started with the Bosco Sticks, a throw back to our childhood but definitely heightened to another level. They were delicious! We decided to sample the lasagna, mostaccioli, chicken, and Italian beef. I speak for my fiancé and I when I say we did not have a favorite, they all were are favorite! Luisa also checked in on us and introduced us to her wonderful husband Paul. What a lovely, kind couple!

Overall, our first experience at Luisa's was absolutely fantastic. If you haven't been there, get there as soon as possible. You will feel a warm welcome from all, even the regulars! I'd make sure to call and make a reservation to make sure to get your spot to try their...
